The Ancient sculptures museum was most unexpected. This collection is like going to a big city museum. We are so thrilled to have had this pleasant experience

Municipal Brew Works

Reviewed By tlynn63 - Cincinnati, Ohio

The Municipal Brew Works has a great location right by the river and across from the Marriot Courtyard. It is located in an old Deco style building where a former fire station once was housed. Large gargage doors open up onto a nice sized patio with benches and tables. I saw one corn hole game and shelving holding board games for those interested. On this warm summer's evening it seemed to be the perfect place to be. There was a sign listing the food truck that would be visiting each day of the week but on a Sat. around 9:45 there was not one there so they must have limited hours. There is inside seating also.

We wanted to visit the aquaglide lake with our children. A couple days before we visited we looked online at the August hours and saw that they opened at 11:00. Because we had 5 children we didn't arrive until 11:45, but they weren't open. We went to the door and the sign said they opened at 11:00. We went back online and the opening time had been switched to 12:00. At about 12:00 someone came to the door and told us they opened at 1:00 PM. We showed him the sign he was standing next to that said the opening time was 11:00 and he said he would talk to the management. At about 12:10 he let us in and we were able to use the aquaglide facility. The guys working there were all nice and helpful. The kids had a great time. I would totally recommend this as a couple fun hours for kids and bigger kids. If you are planning on getting there when it opens I would call first to make sure they know when it's opening.

After living in Hamilton for 3 years we finally got around to visiting this library. What a joy. Just seeing the architecture design of this refurbished historic home made us smile. The landscaping is beautiful and organization inside is lively. Staff was very helpful and very accommodating. Going to the library is not what it used to be when I was a kid. It was very enjoyable to spend time perusing the shelves of this beautiful place.

They had a special going on with their new beer garden, we got a hotdog and a bud light for $1 each. We will be back again soon to play and try out the batting cages. Highly recommend going!
