Clearly, based on other comments, the quality of service depends whether the brasserie is busy or not. We sat inside for lunch, and had no complaints about the staff or the quality of the food. The only disappointment is that I had ordered a "moelleux" for dessert and it is normally served warm with the inside melted. I was given instead a cold chocolate cake with some of cream inside.

What a find! We visited this little restaurant 3 times - it is hidden within Arcachon Tennis Club. They offer a 13 Euro menu du jour of three courses. They were all very good for the price and different everyday. The staff were friendly enough and the atmosphere of players and families coming and going very relaxing. Don't expect high end dining but do expect to be led satisfied and full.

Cannot believe we were recommended this place. My daughters felt like pasta, the bolognaise, served mushy and flavourless, and we had the mussels, mariniere and the spanish blend. Both were flavourless and quite simply plain. To their credit mussels tasted fresh, however we could not understand why there was no salty taste. Breda was fresh, and choc mousse was tasty. Quite a dissappointment at 83 Euro. Staff were lovely though.

One advantage of this place is they serve shellfish and tapas all day. The servers are friendly and efficient. Large selection of drinks. The oysters and langoustines were fresh and tasty, as was the aubergine caviar. My vegetarian salad was far too healthy, some might find that a plus.
