Had dinner and good country big serves. Staff really friendly. Bottle shop attached so could take more home. Liked that there was a caravan park in back yard where the small fee charged goes to charity in the town

Had a very ordinary lunch here. Ordered a chicken burger and it came out on crappy thinly sliced white bread lathered in butter when the picture showed a nice burger bun. Very deceiving and disappointing. Did not taste nice at all. Would not recommend stopping here for lunch!

This is recommended as being the Best place to stay in Winton, and as we were travelling with Family we opted for their Family Unit being No.13. Large enough to accommodate 3 adults, and 2 children aged 12 and 10 which required a trundle bed. The price was more expensive than if we had booked two cabins in a Caravan Park, though to be fair choice of accommodation in Winton is limited, and that is why we decided on this Motor Inn. The Parking area for this particular unit was somewhat confusing, but we parked on the angle under cover, as rooms surrounding us were not being used. The toilet system was old, and the queen bed mattress was one of the hardest on which we have slept. Cracks in the living area had been rectified, but one would have thought the colour used would have blended with the brickwork instead of being so obvious. The Restaurant was closed, possibly due to the owners being absent, though the relieving Managers did offer to organise a Continental Breakfast for us, but we declined and made other arrangements.

Better food than most venues in town and the most reasonable prices. We shared meals that ranged from Turkish rolls and steak burgers to quiche and sweet potato chips. The value for money was good and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

This is a good 30 minute activity to have a go at playing the iconic tune Waltz in Matilda on the fence. The music is there - the drum sticks are provided - you need to add the magic.

We got stuck here for the night due to the floods. The meals were big portions and absolutely gorgeous! The atmosphere was very relaxed and the Decor was so historic and interesting to look at.The staff were extremely friendly and polite.We spoke to who we can assume was the owner and he was so welcoming and chatty.I would definitely recommend dropping in if passing through or staying in Winton.
