We attended this hotel for a dinner on a cold Thursday night. Service was extremely friendly, food was exceptionally fresh and tasty. As we are not large eaters, we shared a meal of chicken schnitzel and it was adequate. This would not suit everyone, but we eat small. The staff were not judgemental because of this. A pleasure to dine here, sorry we can't stay more than one night, but if we did, we would eat here again.

Title straight from my notes and a typical country pub feed in my opinion ! We had a lot during our 2 week road trip and this one was at the top of the list. We both had the Roast Dinner, I the beef , my mate the Chicken and well priced. Both meals came with full vegies and a lovely take on cabbage/cauliflower and we struggled to finish. A really good choice in Town and part of a Cafe attached to the Pub, recommended for sure.

Not much open on the long weekend. Ordered fish n chips. Everything came as ordered. Good service. Location is central in town.

We had been advised by caravan park owner(also owns the pub!) to eat here. Wednesday night was Roast night. For $18 we had a 30cm square dinner plate with roast beef, roast potatoes, roast pumpkin, cauliflower bake, potato bake, assorted frozen vegetables, sweetcorn and a jug of gravy! And that's not all we got a $5 drinks voucher to use at the bar! My only complaint was that our meals were only lukewarm:(

We stayed in their clean quite motel rooms. During the day we visited multiple sites of interest Peterborough has for visitors. Towards the end of the day we would walk from our motel room a short distance to the Restaurant for our night meal and drinks. The couple running this place are very friendly, the service is first class, little waiting time for meals, drinks or the after table clean up. The food on offer was good value, fresh, tasty and large. Locals also come to this place for meals. Would recommend. Will stay their again.

Our coffee and cake was so good, that we returned later in the day for quiche and salad and another coffee.This is one place where you feel so welcome and comfortable in your surroundings. Service was very prompt and our coffees and food were excellent!! Highly recommend a visit here.
