Hidden behind a billiard parlor sign (with no pool tables in sight), this restaurant is impeccably clean and the pho superb. Beef and pork broth is available along with some of the best noodles around. The staff is extremely organized (e.g., sprouts and water on the bar at the ready) and the service is quick. There is a limited menu when compared with some Vietnamese restaurants but when you do one thing this well thereâs no need for a huge menu!

Just had lunch here today for the first time. I explained to our waitress that we've never visited here before and she gave us some recommendations of things to try - we ended up ordering the steamed dumplings, egg rolls, char-broiled pork vermicelli noodles and a seafood noodle entree. Everything was delivered quickly to the table and the food was soooo good. Several waiters/waitresses checked on us during our meal and the serving sizes are very generous.I would definitely eat here again!

We were visiting in Wichita and decided Japanese food sounded good and picked this restaurant because of the trip advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. I have eaten at a lot of Japanese restaurants all over the country and I would definitely put this one near the top of my list. The food was phenomenal. The serving sizes were excellent. The waitress and the chef did a great job and made the evening very fun. The vegetables were very fresh and cooked perfectly. He even cooked some extra vegetables and gave us some more when he saw that everyone was eating all of theirs. I have never had that happen. I had chicken but tried my friendâs steak and scallops and all tasted very fresh and were just the perfect temperature. They had a great liquor menu as well that was very diverse. I would highly recommend.WOW! Thanks for all the kind words! The staff loves the recognition!

I have had Sushi around the world, including Japan and can honestly say Wasabi has great sushi! This has become our regular spot for sushi. Their fish is always fresh, which is a real surprise for the Mid-west. We love the Coconut Gigolo $14, California Roll $4, and Tuna Rolls $3.50. We have tried most of the special rolls $12-$14 and have not had a bad one yet. We like the Rock Rd location for better service, but like the downtown location for ambiance better. Good for a quick snack or meal.

We're in town for work and decided to try this place based on reviews. We only got the food to go so I can't review on service or the place itself, but we ordered the steam mandu, seaweed rolls, kimchi dolsot and the beef japchae with the Korean side dishes.The mandu was very good and had a nice portion of filling. The seaweed rolls were something we had no clue what we were ordering but it was a great nugget of goodness. It was a lightly fried (guessing in tempura batter) with seaweed and sweet potato noodles in the center. The noodles are more like a glass noodle and the whole thing had a great flavor and I really liked them, but who doesn't like fried foods. There were 6 to an order and came with a sweet soy side dipping sauce. It was the first time trying beef kimchi dolsot and I really liked this. Kimchi can be too salty at times so the beef and rice was a nice balance in it. I always love pickled radishes and the bean sprouts for the small sides and they did a great job with these. The only thing I was disappointed in was the beef japchae which is suppose to have beef slices and vegetables. It had a lot of noodles but very little vegetables. It had a few onion slices, one carrot slice and I believe a few mushrooms and very little beef. I've had this in many other Korean restaurants and usually there are a lot more things in it besides a hefty serving of noodles so I was disappointed in this dish. Other than that everything else was great and I will definitely return to try other dishes.

Went here with our Sunday School class on a Sunday noon. They politely pushed four tables together for us and kindly split the ticket for us to pay as couples. The food was delicious and served promptly. Everybody seemed happy with quality and quantity! I highly recommend this restaurant.

We go to this place a couple times a month and the food is delicious! We love it all because you can tell the ingredients are fresh, and seasoned to perfection! Our 2 absolute favorites are the Happy Family, and the House fried rice. this place is busy at lunch and dinner so if it's take out call in ahead and iy will be waiting!
