Want to experience the best ever fried green tomatoes and grits? We went for lunch after hiking Laurel River and before Mineral Hot Springs next door. It was great to meet and talk with the owner who also ordered the same on her initial trip to the restaurant. Unique atmosphere with a great chef.

My husband and I live in TN and love going for drives in our convertible thru the mountains and small towns around us. While planning our most recent drive, he saw the Trust General Store and Cafe about midway and around lunch time on our route. We read the reviews and decided we would give it a try. The food did not disappoint, the service was friendly and we got to watch a doe and fawn across the street while we ate!! I ordered the grilled chicken ranch wrap - it was stuffed with chicken and was delicious, along with the coleslaw I got on the side. My husband ordered their big burger and said it was great! He got the potato salad with his, and that was good too. The store does not have a lot, a few basics and snacks and a few crafts. Still a good place to stop to eat or just a rest stop and snack. They have a large covered front porch with a lot of chairs for sitting and relaxing. So glad we gave it a try.

We went for our wedding anniversary dinner and were not disappointed. My rack of lamb was done to perfection on a bed of baby potatoes. My wife's beef fillet was also perfect. Raven, our waiter, was attentive, not pushy. We enjoyed his service and company. Lovely dining rooms with generous tables and uncrowded space. Look forward to our next visit to Hot Springs and another delicious meal.

Always great food and worth a wait. Efficient service and truth in wait times. The team is a well oiled machine! And the owner seems to have a good handle on everything going on The only thing that could be improved would be to have a host taking names. The struggle for a seat is real and over the years Iâve seen some nasty come out in people waiting. Once you have a spot. Itâs an enjoyable meal

This place was recommended to us by locals and we were not disappointed. We wanted to order one of everything on the menu. Everyone in our group was more than satisfied with their meal. We got cheese burgers, chili, wraps, fried green tomato BLT, meat loaf sandwich, onion rings. Everything was cooked perfectly and just as ordered. The staff was SO nice. If we were staying in the area, we would have gone back for dinner. We were too full for dessert, but bought some to go as the pies were made fresh that day.
