I stayed here overnight and initially thought that eating in the restaurant would "bust my budget" but there were dishes/meals/options for all budgets (and tastes!)The food and service were excellent (as was the hotel itself, would definitely stay here again!)PS. I was travelling "solo" but made to feel very welcome by all the staff.Hello,Thank you so much for your comment. L'Ardoise is just 150 m down from the hotel we stay at overnighting in Beaune en route to the mountains. Truly excellent food, attentive and friendly service, warm atmosphere. Will definitely come again. Worth booking as it clearly gets v busy - lots of locals, always a great sign.

This place is a little gem, just outside the old city walls in Beaune. Great selection of wines (not only from Burgundy!) even wines by the glass. Great, simple and fresh food with some Asian influences. Staff are really friendly and helpful...you feel they are all passionate! Best to make a reservation as it fills very quickly for lunch.
