Dine here twice during the month we spent in Beaune and both times were a wonderful dining experience. This small restaurant is run entirely by the husband and wife owners, he the chef, she serving the customers, and they both do a great job. The food, the wine, the service - if you want a great, Burgundy dinner, you will find it here.

We have been coming to La Superb consistently for the last year living in the area. I can say, wholeheartedly, the family who run the restaurant are some of the nicest, most friendly people in Beaune. The food is always excellent and the service is super friendly. The wine list is reasonably priced as well with some beautiful,But affordable selections. We are thankful to have such a wonderful local place to visit so often. Thank you La Superb!

We had a nice dinner at this restaurant a year ago. We decided to have another dinner again during our return visit to Beaune. Surprisingly, tables here are set with nice distance, not like Paris bistros. The menu is a simple offering with 3 course dinner and moderately priced. The chef uses the fresh local ingredients. They only accept guests with the reservations.

We have just spent a fabulous evening at KeepKong. The owners could not have been friendlier, more helpful or informative. The pizzas were all superbly made, amazing dough and perfect toppings. We were too full for the homemade desserts but the artisanale ice-cream and sorbets were to die for. Nothing that you could ask for, was too much trouble and we have two picky teenage boys! Outside of the food, the wine list was so well put together. Hand picked range of quality wines at a reasonable price and an expert to question, should you need one. We will be returning. Bravo KeepKong. Beaune is so lucky to have you.

This is by reservation only, but if you can mange the reservation the grand cru tasting is excellent. We had two that were simply amazing, but I hesitate to mention for fear of too many people purchasing those vintages. Anyway, go and find the magnificent wines suited to your taste.

I stayed here overnight and initially thought that eating in the restaurant would "bust my budget" but there were dishes/meals/options for all budgets (and tastes!)The food and service were excellent (as was the hotel itself, would definitely stay here again!)PS. We've eaten here a couple of times before this year and had never been disappointed until now. To be sure, everything that came out of the kitchen was excellent -- completely. However the service was slow and we had trouble getting the attention of the wait staff. There was a water carafe sitting next to our table and the glass was cloudy, maybe not dirty, but unattractive. Our initial server that poured our wine (by the glass) poured a teaspoon of lees along with the wine in one of our glasses and went to get another bottle to top it off. He wasn't unpleasant when we asked him to start over but he wasn't the least bit apologetic. We weren't offered additional bread though the table next to us had several trips to the bread basket. I think this may have just been an off day and I'm sure this review will disappoint but we want this restaurant to be clean and successful.Dear DonMoffittS,thank you very much for this instructive and useful comment.Indeed, we had new employees coming in November and, despite training, we are unfortunately not safe from mistakes and errors. Quite « affordable » for a restaurant of this quality, we spend a very nice evening there. Great view over wineyards of Pernand-vergelesses, nice welcome, great original food (expert combination between Bourgignone and Japanese food), full of surprises. Very nice service, sophisticated and simple at the same time. Great experience. And the most expert wine list we have ever seen :-). Maybe our problem was that the first thing we did upon being seated at Terrasses de Corton was to ask if our seating could be changed. We were eating outdoors, as were all the patrons of the restaurant, and we were given a table right next to the door back into the restaurant. Although there were a couple of other empty tables, we were told we could not move. Later those tables were filled. Then there was also the late order of my wife's dessert. She had initially decided she wasn't going to have dessert, and when I got a soufflé, she changed her mind. Her dessert order took 20 minutes or more. Let's just say that the service was somewhat less than attentive. Eventually we caught the eye of a trio of men who appeared to be regular customers. They smiled and shook their heads, seemingly aware that we were not getting much attention. I suppose if the food hadn't been any good we would've left at some point, but there were no problems with the food. I had the foie gras, which, although presented in a very stark fashion (unlike the photos on the website), was tasty enough. Our main courses of sole and Charolais beef were quite adequate, and the aforementioned desserts were excellent. Asking for multiple cheeses from the cheese board was a bit of a chore (I had the impression they would have been happy for me to have just one cheese), but the cheeses themselves were good, and I did get a smile when I asked for âle fromage le plus fort et votre préféré.â This is pretty simple place, and the purple and lime green chairs, although clean enough, looked like a mistake from the 1980âs.

We celebrated our friends birthday with a party of 10 last night. We were treated like family and the owner, Alberto, treated us to such amazing Italian food, from appetizers to desserts! The highlight was the pasta dish cooked table side in a large wheel of parmigiana/Romano cheese. Everything we ate was delicious and we all agreed that this was one of our top dining experiences! We highly recommend this restaurant.
