Stumbled across this restaurant on market day. Fabulous find. We had an amazingly delicious lunch and it was terrific value. I have just returned from Israel and can assure readers this is authentic and scrumptious. We will be regular customers. Great chef and charming service.

Colon is, as the name says, Cafe. It is good for beer, coffee and light snack, but forget it as a dinner restaurant.The food is unfortunately modest. For example one of their most expensive dishes Grilled Squid was not grilled, only fried in frying pan and served with lettuce and french fries. No taste, only money waste. Cafe itself is attractive and service professional.

So we went here to celebrate my birthday and I must say the food was amazing, what really let it down was the service. The waiters/waitress were not attentive at all, we waited ages for a drink and they walked past us numerous times without asking if we needed anything. They did not ask how the food was and were just so slow with everything. I was so disappointed! I loved the food but wouldnât recommend going just because you feel awkward and uncomfortable and like a nuisance with the staff. If they were more invested this place would have been a huge hit with us.

Another gem found in Llucmajor thanks to Trip Advisor reviews, less than 15 mins drive from our hotel in Son Antem. We enjoyed Mallorcan style candied lamb with a sweet potato puree (tasty, rich and sweet - alas that photo has been lost) and the pork tenderloin (lovely bbq and herb flavour - see pic) with a side of sweet potato fries/chunks. Whilst there is no specific kids menu, they offered a few options inc the omnipresent chicken nuggets (this time we opted for a baked potato side).An inviting rooftop terrace and friendly service - the home-made herb infused liqueur digestif was delicious and smooth! Our 7 yo was even offered a pretty non-alcoholic version (peach and raspberry). **Thumbs up all round.** Three main courses, soft drinks and a couple of beers came to â¬51.

Family meal with my wife and 4 children. Staying at the Marriott so this is an easy 10 minutes away. Lots of choice in the square at Llucmajor but a lot is distinctly touristy. Not so here. A genuinely pleasant experience with freshly prepared, interesting dishes from an encouragingly limited menu - always a worry if there is a vast choice. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Booking essential.

We always eat multiple times here during our holiday: the food is great (and not just the tapas, the main dishes are so good) and the owners are just the loveliest people. Went for lunch so we could appreciate the Mediterranean views. Amazing bar with tempting cocktails. We started with delicious tapas. Gamba, pulpo and local cheeses. Then the main event are the savoury crepes........incredible. Although so full up we finished with a lemon crepe for dessert and it was magnificent. The terrace furniture is comfy and relaxing.
