Hotel recommendation so we were hoping for a positive outcome! We were delighted with what we found. Beautiful setting just as dusk was falling. Very pleasant staff who were very obliging. Excellent locally sourced produce that was delicious! Lamb and filet steak were particularly good. But that view with lighting was perfect!

A wonderful historic and atmospheric bar located on the lovely main square. We enjoyed some monster Aperols which were great . Whilst we did not eat here the food we saw looked very good . A must for a drink In Llucmajor

Trip advisor reviews made us visit here and we were not disappointed. Excellent sea food. Recommend the cockles starter and the crayfish starter. Seafood platter is messy but absolutely fantastic. Great service but booking is absolute must!! Wish we could return tomorrow. Great service and two free drinks. Not been anywhere as good on the island !! Toilets clean and beautiful view. We got the land train from Garonda hotel and was only few euros each return. Great afternoon

We had the pleasure of dining at the Bistro Mercat a number of times whilst staying nearby. The first time was of necessity because the heavens opened with rain of biblical proportions! The inclement weather was greatly to our benefit; we had a splendid jambon baguette and beer whilst we waited for the rain to cease. The host was really pleasant and made us very welcome. We returned the following day with a friend and were immediately recognised and welcomed. Supposedly “far superior” establishments would do well to learn this little trick as it makes the guests feel more than welcomed. Were returned for dinner on another couple of occasions and were treated to free liqueurs or a glass of cava and plenty of jokes and smiles each time. If you do go, you won’t be disappointed; tell the host that Mr Wilson, Mrs Wilson and Mrs Baguette (!) recommended that you visit and ask if the salmon and gazpacho are still available (private joke). Also give them our best regards.

I would advise you to book well in advance because if you book the night before as we did, you may turn up before you get your email to say that they are full for the day which disappointed us as we had walked a long way. Club not open until 11am and obvious that people book and do not turn up so the "sorry we are full" isnt always the reality as sunbeds that are booked and not sat on after 1pm you can move to - I think they are missing a trick here because they could ask for a small none-refundable deposit and contact people they have to turn away after 1pm and then charge a part-day fee?
Having said that it is a nice place, lovely pool, lovely beds and staff very friendly. I would recommend.

Passed by this Place on the way back from the beach on our first day. Thought it looked nice, so decided to have dinner there that night. We were not dissapointed. In fact we kept coming back during our stay in Arenal.
The food is very good and Steven has his own ways of making you feel special.

If you like sweet treats and milkshakes this is a place to visit.
There is an array of cakes, cupcakes and cookies to try. The milkshakes are large and luxurious. You can pick from a selection of chocolate bars and gave them added to your milkshake.
The service was very friendly adding to a relaxed atmosphere.

I'm on a short holiday and was here tonight with a friend. I had the filet with mashed potatoes, some tapas for starters and a lemon cake for desert. The food was just excellent, the local wine very tasty. And all this for a reasonable price. The service was very friendly and we got throught the menus in a mixture of a bit of Spanish, some English and little bit of French. It was a very pleasant and enjoyable evening. Muchas Gracias a todo el team del Caliuente. I will return for sure.

Staying at Marriot nearby. Worth a trip out to this place as the restaurants at the Marriot are pretty awful. Located in nice square. Good atmosphere.
We had a couple of starters and pizza and pasta all of which were very good. Quality Italian wines. Only negative was tables are a little small for 4
