Horrendously old and outdated

This motorr inn has seen its best days come and long gone! It badly needs a paint job. It is so small and cramped. I booked a wheelchair accessible room, with roll in shower and then called 2x to confirm It was fitted for a fulltime wheelchair user. Upon arrival. The eleva t or was so small I had to remove the leg rests on my chair to fit. When I got to the 4th floor there was no turning room between the balcony rails and the door of the room that also had a lip to climb to get in the room. I have seen this lamp as a flood prevention tool in beach rooms. Very tight cramped squeeze to angle the wheelchair just right to get in the door but the worst was yet to come. I had requested a room with roll in shower and had called 2x to confirm. Not only was it not a roll in shower but I was not even able to fit in the bathroom. The bathroom is so small my standard sized wheelchair would not fit. There are no standard safety rails around the toilet to transfer to the toilet. The towels are located over the toilet out of wheelchair reach. So I had to pee in a cup and go down the street to the casino to use the bathroom. If there had been an emergency and I had no cell phone, I would have been screwed because the phone was also out of reach instead of being on the desk at a reachable level. There is a tall credenza for the television and the phone was behind that. The television only had 4 channels, 2 of which were in Spanish so I looked at the news all night. All of the other channels said cable service not authorized? Perhaps the place is so old it cannot be modernized in which case they should not advertise ADA mobility rooms if standard sized wheelchairs don't fit. Roll in means the room is not obstructed by a lip to enter. A roll in shower means one can roll their wheelchair directly into the shower. The phone towels and amenities are at a heel hair level and the bathroom is large enough to fit in. This was a horrible evening and even worse inconsiderate service!

The reviews are split- but it’s disgusting

Go to check in. Man behind plastic has a very, very, VERY thick accent. He asked me a question that I didn’t understand so I didn’t answer. He asked me three more times (I guess) and then he slammed his little plastic door in my face. Four times he slammed this little door on the counter in my face. He explained that he asked me something four times and that I need to learn English- which is my first language and very clearly not his. I was yelled at and spoken to in a a manner I wouldn’t expect my mother to. I stayed calm. Cool. Collected. I kept pleading my case as if I had to. I kept saying I’m sorry sir I truly did not understand what you were saying. And then he would yell at me. And I would say sir I am very sorry and I’m being very polite here I don’t know what the problem is. Yelled at again. Until the last slam of that stupid little door. He was very nasty with me. Without the actual words he accused me of being racist because I couldn’t understand him. And I genuinely did not understand him. Why would I just stand there if I did? Why would I want to insult the seemingly only person working at my hotel? There were other people around. It was sincerely embarrassing. I am under five feet tall and he kept looking at my id and back at me. For minutes this went on. Eventually I was so disgusted with him I shouted “sir I am not a little girl do not talk to me like I am a child. I am 33 years old you address me as an adult. Without an attitude because I have DONT nothing to you and I have been nothing but nice.” Although I shouted this myself I had stayed calm until my breaking point. So I was yelled at again and accused of being racist. I want you, the reader to know that I do not consider myself racist. I’m not going to tell you about my one black friend to make it seem as such. I am straight up not racist. That’s just not the case. I don’t care what country he or anyone else is from. I don’t care if you don’t speak great English. But when you have an accent that thick- are you really that dumb that people don’t understand what you are saying sometimes? I misunderstood him with whatever this question was and three other things. Parking. He demanded twenty dollars cash and just kept putting his hand out. I find that rude in itself. He hands me a slip and tells me what to fill out which I thought I caught. Apparently I missed something when he spoke. I didn’t fill in my address because I thought he said phone number and license plate. When I handed him the slip without the address he slammed it back on the counter to give it back to me.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!

Do not choose this place! Hidden fees. Have to pay early on the morning of arrival even if you choose "pay at the motel". RUDE! Bed bugs bit me and my daughter. Roaches in the bathroom. Dirty floors. Smelled like smoke and marijuana everywhere. The people hanging around appear to be on drugs. There are broke down vehicles in the parking lot. Needs updated bad! There was a hole in the bathroom floor and a small hole in the wall by the air conditioner. The seal was gone under the door. The door wasn't shutting properly. There was only a chain on the door for safety. I felt very unsafe. The tv wouldn't work. There was no refrigerator or microwave. This is a terrible place! They charge for parking!!!!
