We had a combination of food. We found the service super friendly and local. The wait time from order to delivery of the food was very quick. Had the pig sandwich which was very good (but too much butter on the bun). The baby back ribs were fall off the bone tender. I had them with the sauce applied, but would have had them without if I had it to do over again. My son had the Super Spud, nothing special. Wife enjoyed the pulled pork. Overall it was a very good meal from a local joint. They had live music going, not sure if that was normal. We had peach cobbler which was good, the blackberry cobbler was over cooked. If I were in town again, I’d make a visit.

We were a little disappointed in the new place on S. Benton. We frequently ate there when they were on Beebe Capps but the new place is more like a dairy queen size. The food was fine but the atmosphere certainly not what we expected.

Wife was given a restaurant.com voucher for this BBQ restaurant, so we stopped on our way to a marching contest this week. Outside looks like a lot of other BBQ joints. Inside is very clean. Staff was super friendly. Menu is typical Arkansas BBQ fare. Ribs, sandwiches, pig pie, BBQ spuds. All of our food was good. Nothing really stood out as exceptional, but I will say the ribs were super tender. Not my favorite sauce in the world. Just o.k. Rave reviews from the two that had a chocolate fried pie to go.

The various burgers and sandwiches I have eaten are very good. I have not been disappointed yet. But today, I'm going to focus on just two sandwiches on the menu and my five star rating is based solely on the burger.Barb's BBQ is a small Mom & Pop type place that has a fairly large menu with a pretty loyal clientele. You order at their order window and then just wait on them to get your order ready. There are a few tables around the business if you want to eat there...but for the most part, this is a TO GO place to eat. Barb is always friendly and the service is always prompt. My first (of two) reviews is for their jumbo BBQ. It's a good sandwich, the bread was fresh and the meat was VERY tasty! The BBQ sandwich, at least for me...lost some of it's quality when the sauce and slaw were added. The sauce was mediocre and the slaw (mustard based) flavor profile didn't really match the sauce or the sandwich. All in all, it was just a slightly better than average "QUE". The cost of the jumbo BBQ was about $4.75.Barb's has several kinds of burgers including cheeseburgers, deluxe burgers...I think even a pizza burger. But Barb's also have a regular sized burger with THIN meat, mustard, pickle and diced onion. The meat is only about 1/4" thick, the mustard is slathered on rather generously and the onions are fresh and diced. You might think I am complaining about this burger with the THIN meat and generous mustard with a soft fresh bun, but NOTHING could be further from the truth. The burger meat has a slight grilled CRUST to it which gives this burger some texture when eating, but the taste...OH THE TASTE. These remind me so much of the burgers we sold at a Cafe my Mom and my Grandmother owned in Blytheville, AR from the 1960-1970's) called Betty's and Letties. Nope, this ain't a gourmet burger, and this ain't a burger deluxe. This is as simple as it gets...a fresh bun, simple meat, mustard, dill slices and diced onion. BEAUTIFULLY done and I bet you can't eat just one!! In fact, you better order about 4 of these little bad boys for each person...and at $1.80 for TWO burgers...it's a bargain.I know the business name is Barb's BBQ, but I'll call it Barb's Burgers... Simple, Good, Affordable and it don't get no better than that!!
