It was close to our hotel and we like it so much the first time, we went back for a second! Friendly owner and staff. The restaurant was full and busy but everyone was friendly and service with a smile! Great choices on the menu whether you want 'mexican' flare or want good ol' american breakfast norms! the first time I ordered the blueberry pancakes with bacon done to perfection! Yummy and plentiful! My husband had the huevos rancheros and loved the flavor! Great coffee, too! The second visit we both had eggs/ham/hasbrowns and toast and it was all fixed to order and tasty as ever! The prices are fantastic and the restaurant bright and sunny!

Located on Main Street in the historic Old Town area of Cottonwood, our hostess at the Cottonwood Hotel recommended this spot for breakfast. My husband does not eat eggs so sometimes breakfast is a coffee and we have early lunch instead. I'm so glad we decided to give it a try! It is a warm and charming place and the woman taking orders at the counter is amazing! Cheerful, quick, and pointed out options on how we could accommodate the egg-less spouse and the egg-loving me.You must try the Blueberry pancakes! OMG. Crispy and golden brown and filled with (what looked like) 2 cups of blueberries. In every bite there was a mouthful of blueberries. Plus they are as big as a plate and the lightest fluffiest pancakes I have ever had. I dream of these pancakes now.Eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, fantastic house potatoes - everything is made from scratch and local. And you can taste it! The coffee is excellent, free refills. Lots of great spots to sit inside plus an outdoor patio great for families and kids and a window bar (where we sat) so we watched the world go by as we savored our feast.Highly recommended. We went back the next day with just as wonderful an experience. Good prices - you could split a breakfast and order an extra side of something if you did not want to do a face plant in your hotel and nap after eating - like we did.
