Reviewed By MadalynH7This hotel has a good location - and the rooms are spacious and well appointed. We were however underwhelmed by the welcome and interest of the staff during our visit. Breakfast was buffet style, with a requirement to wear disposable plastic gloves when getting food. A novel approach to Covid restrictions!

A very nice warm place with great food
Reviewed By MariaBragaLots of people don’t know but the food is really great here, the dinner was superb! The people are super friendly and the place is very calm and a good refugee from the city. I trully recomend. Just need to add a good green tea to the tea selection and maybe a bit of a more diverse breakfast.

Perfect holiday
Reviewed By HughesyKI cannot say enough nice things about our stay here. We stayed for 2 weeks with our 8 month old baby and it was perfect. Nuno, his mum and the team couldn’t do enough to help us during our stay. A travel cot with extra mattress and bedding were set up on arrival to accommodate and the bread delivery in the morning was a great bonus! The pool area was always tidy and comfortable with lovely views, and the bbq area looked great although we didn’t use it ourselves. The kitchen is well equipped, we ate in most nights and were able to cook everything we wanted to. The locals were all very friendly, they love babies so that helped with our terrible attempts at Portuguese! There’s a Lidl about 10min drive away to stock up and local shops in town. Lots of great restaurants to try offering traditional Portuguese food. Thanks Nuno!!

We stood in front of a LOCKED hotel at 6 pm!!
Reviewed By Simon DWe booked this hotel months in advance, checking room type and availability. On arrival at 5pm in a remote national park the hotel was CLOSED!!! No email to tell us, and when we called the reservation number at first we got someone who spoke only Portuguese or Catalan, then simply HUNG UP!! We asked a shop keeper in the village who said, yes they closed for a while. I warn everyone from using a hotel that is so unfriendly and poor service that guests with confirmed reservations are left in front of a LOCKED DOOR AT 5 PM!!! A scandal!!

WORST CLEANNESS EVER...FREEZING NIGHT

We called at 11pm to ask for more blankets for our 4 years old son and no one replied...We had a freezing night sleeping with him between us (paid 20€ for his bed)...lucky it wasn't an emergency ... breakfast included 5 breads for the entire family of 3 for the entire stay of 2 nights Please avoid leaving your home to pay 80€ for this freezing cleanness host

Super clean, carefully decorated, all amenities you can think of, the host is such a nice person, gives you just the right amount of privacy and assistance. The property is absolutely breathtaking, I just can't recommend it enough!
