I was asking for the sauce that goes on the chicken and the girl said it will be 25 cents extra and the reason I wanted it was because my chicken was dry . Regardless of why I wanted it , that should not even matter. I , as well as other customers , come in and pay the amount required to purchase our meals and then we have to pay extra for sauce. This is not what the other chains do , but they care more about the customers than they do about making 25 cents Proof is in the pudding here !

Any Waffle House is a Waffle House. The food is okay, fairly fast and contains lots of butter or oil. I had a cheeseburger with jalapenos, lettuce and tomatoes. I paid extra for all three. Luckily the cook got me my drinks because the waitress was too busy talking but eventually got around to me.

Having lived in Glencoe as a child, we ate there at least once a week. Was in the area recently, so my sister and I had to visit. Was not disappointed!! Country fried steak sandwich, fried green tomatoes, cheeseburger, fries and chicken tenders for the little ones were all excellent!! Food is cooked while you wait, so it was hot and fresh!! Must try the GRAPE soft serve!!
