The hotel location was okay many but several loud trucks driving by. There enough maids employ to keep the clean the rooms. The heater in the room did not do a good job keeping my room warm. The front desk never send a maintenance to check out my heater problems in the room. Also the water pressure in the kitchen was very low.

Disappointment

#1 - I tried to cancel one night of our stay a week before we went, in the time-frame to cancel without charge. I was told No! - by the hotel and booking.com. I also discussed this at the hotel and the manager rolled his eyes at me and no explanations or apologies were given. #2 - There is no housekeeping. I came back to room after 4pm on the second day and nothing had been cleaned or changed. I went to front desk and was told there was not housekeeping everyday. I had to get clean towels for my family from front desk and change my own trash cans. #3 - The pool was DISGUSTING! I asked if pool was open and was told yes. However, when I took my family down to pool - it was so green and cloudy. My son was very excited about this part of the hotel stay and was so saddened. After all of this, we definitely ended our trip early and left.

Worth the stay!

Four of us from PA needed a place to stay near BULLE ROCK GOLF COURSE in MD. Based on TA reviews, we chose this establishment. We each had our own room (a King); the bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows and a comfortable mattress. Got a great senior rate, too! Clean as a whistle…plenty of room…nice-sized bathroom. Near a major highway but very quiet. Quite a few restaurants and stores within 1/10 of a mile or so (need your car). Friendly front-desk personnel. Skipped the hotel breakfast to sleep in; ate at the attached IHOP. Would stay again! Note: No DO NOT DISTURB signs; we thought that was odd. One room wrote DO NOT DESTOIB on a piece of paper and stuck it on the doorknob. I assume it was Curly…maybe Moe.

Would Stay Here Again

Reviewed By Whisper1830

My dog and I stayed three nights. This is just a basic hotel - no frills. The room was very clean. I had confirmed and pre-paid for a non-smoking king bed. The first room assignment sort of smelled of something, so I went back and spoke to manager. He apologized, quickly changed my room, making sure I was happy with it. The hotel room had an exterior door and parking right in front of it with a handicap ramp - very convenient. Not needed but nice. The room had a dresser, two end tables, a desk/swivel chair, refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was spacious. No hairdryer. The bed linens were very soft and clean. Walls were a bit thin, but it didn’t bother me. The location is right off I-95 and restaurants, drug store and grocery stores were very close. Being a former local, I would highly recommend a Mexican restaurant, La Toltecca, next door, and The Olive Tree, an Italian favorite restaurant. I intend to stay here again to visit my family in the area and the price can’t be beat. This place does not charge for pets and all room are pet-friendly. Thumbs up! ??

Great location. Near Havre De Grace, Susquehanna State Park, Conowingo Dam and other spots along the shore. Very clean, comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Pretty cool to watch kids play on the ball fields. Employees are very, very nice and very helpful. Quiet. The only thing that was missing were enough dishes and silverware in the room. If you’re planning on cooking anything see what’s missing when you check in and ask for what you need.

The employees that work here should that some type of sensitivity training or customer service training, because when every there is a situation as a Platinum Rewards I don't like feeling like my only choice is to re-pack my family up call around for hours trying to make last minute reservations somewhere that I didn't want to go from start that's why I choose here, all because there hotel isn't professional enough to deal with there short comings instead once again management & Owners rather tell you if you don't like it you can check out or deal with it, but if you paid for three or four nights run into a problem half way through your reservation. Then what every money & time you have invested thous far is wasted and they use that as a strongarm tactic. Again if iam a paying customer and me and my family are unhappy with a advertised product I have the right to ask for a refund and move on, not be held hostage because I don't want to lose out on what every deal or money already spent.

Great stay and location!

Reviewed By archelle18

I booked this hotel because of the location. I was here to visit my bestfriend whom I haven't seen for more than 15 years. Travelled all the way from Virginia Beach was smooth but long. I arrived around 12 noon and I tried checking in. Front desk lady was new so I waited for few minutes but that it okay. She welcomed me and asked what brought me to their hotel. Hotel was quiet that day so I guess it was a plus for me. Facilities were great, pool was closed, there's an arcade area which was very unusual but.. okay. Room was decent but really clean~ I wasn't expecting that so great job. Bed was comfortable. I was only there during sleeping time since I was out to visit my bestfriend the entire afternoon. Checked out at 2am because I do not want to catch heavy traffic at the tunnel. Night audit was really nice. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to everyone and will come back this October fot my godchild's baptism.
