Nearby is also located Aluksne`s castle island or "Marijas" island; from it it is possible to reach "Tempļakalns" park by a pedestrian bridge. Nearby are also located Aluksne`s New castle and park. The hotel has 6 rooms with all amenities, of which one room has a large balcony. It is also possible to reserve dinner in the hotel hall and reserve the hall for a celebration. A very elegant, comfortable, clean small hotel where you breath the warm atmosphere created by the owners Aina and Aivars., located in the heart of Alūksnes. The beauty of the hotel where wood is the king, the elegant rooms, the excellent breakfast and delicious dinners with homemade cakes and bio vegetables & fruit produced by the owners, the beautiful bar/cafeteria (divine Lavazza expresso and cappuccino) the kindness and cordiality of the staff together with the enchanting natural beauties of the town are the reasons why I recommend this fantastic hotel . I will come back !

Looking over Aluksne Lake, Jaunsetas offers both shared sleeping accommodation as well as comfortable rooms with balconies. All the rooms at Jaunsetas have parquet floors. Reviewed By elina_kolaNice place suitable for the whole family. A children’s playground is available. The children were very happy. There is also a café where you can eat delicious food. Pizza is also available, which the children were excited about. Next to the lake and a very beautiful recreation area

Reviewed By Criwi671What I liked: Breakfast (has to be booked additionally for 10€ but it’s worth it) Cleanness the room size the mattress (never slept so well in a hotel) Friendly stuff responded fast for my prior requests flexible with individual wishes What I would change, but doesn’t minimize the amazing stay: Remove the carpet out of the room To lock the front door was first a little bit strange Bigger parking slot, if all 10 rooms will come with each car, there is no space What I missed: a Gym, but on the Island there was a perfect Bodyweight Training Spot

Great rest in nature
Reviewed By elina_kolaA ski track is available next to the guest house. As there is always a lot of snow in Aluksne, this will be a great place for those who like to ski. The tracks are available for young children and adults. The owners of the guest house are very responsive.

Breakfast with a Big B
Reviewed By wilcon53332You’re welcomed in a most warm and caring way. You are made to feel welcome in Sandra and Janis’ well furnished home, which they built themselves. The highlight for the four of us was the opulent breakfast. Our hosts cooked and presented breakfast in their kitchen, where food transferred from hob to plate with ease. With hints of a Japanese cooking style, Sandra coped with one of her guests having a lactose intolerance, as if she did it every day.

For such a price - perfect
Reviewed By elina_kolaKind hostess, told and showed everything. Taxis were recommended and booklets were offered listing the best sights in Aluksne. The children needed extra pillows and it was brought to us. Super! Food was prepared in the kitchen.

Cheap hotel in the center of a town
Reviewed By elina_kolaThis will be economy class, but the hotel is located in the city center. There is a café next to the hotel where you can eat lunch. Most of the sights in Aluksne are five minutes away. Free parking in the hotel courtyard.
