Reviewed By Alroy13Inside the old city, an old building fully renovated with a warm atmosphere . Rooms are spacious and fully renovated. The inside of the hotel is beautifully designed to conserve the old and ancient atmosphere. Service is great and do not miss the breakfast and the view from the terrace of the village. The old city is small and impressive, walking the hills and the church was short as the hotel has a great location. Enjoy the stay

Reviewed By O9421BLsaracThey tried but with little success. Food came too slowly. The meet and the croquettes were fine but cold in the inside. Bravas uneatable, we had to ask for some mayonaise to make them pass through. Besides they didn’t have the order of our bravas, but we asked for them twice and they said they were coming. The third time they said they didn’t have any order of Bravas, so the table next to us gave up theirs, cause they were full. Staff were friendly but scarce. They had just one bottle of olive oil for nine tables.

Casa rural exclusiva con finca, jardines y piscina ubicada en Calaceite, Comarca del Matarraña. Disponemos de 8 habitaciones, cada una de ellas diferentes y con acceso independiente al exterior. En la masía, los espacios de disfrute común son una biblioteca con sofás y sillones, una bodega con una selección de vinos de la zona y el restaurante, en el que servimos cenas elaboradas con productos frescos de proximidad y una pincelada viajera para hacer de nuestros platos una comida alegre y saludable. Los desayunos los servimos en las terrazas, con todo tipo de productos artesanos, que nos sirve de escaparate de todas las personas que mantienen viva la tierra y sostienen pequeños proyectos vinculados a la alimentación con materia prima local.
Amazing mid-week stay in the countryside
Reviewed By SaskiaVDWe stayed in Matarrana at Casa del Rei for 4 nights in September, on a last minute decision to outrun the rain in the South of France (!). The website and description are nothing short of what you can expect: we were welcomed very warmly, given a guided tour of the house and shown our room with private and covered outside space. There is a wonderfully refreshing clean swimming pool, the rooms are impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The next good surprise was the wonderful food l cooked by Marina and the incredibly smiling staff. I had the best pork tenderloin I ever tasted (and I like my food!), everything is home-made from fresh local (even own garden) produce, and in 3 meals we never ate the same dish twice. Breakfast is everything you may like and ask for and I saw fantastic picnics packed for guests. The house is a great place to discover the secrets of Matarrana, a wonderful place if you like history and nature (and not many people). Thank you all!

Pequeño hostal, recién renovado e inaugurado en junio de 2020, en una casa del S. XVIII, estamos en la parte alta del casco antiguo de Calaceite. Disponemos de 7 habitaciones dobles con baño, una de ellas con capacidad máxima de 4 personas. Niños a partir de 12 años. No aceptamos mascotas.

La casa es una pasada,muy tranquila, limpia y no le falta detalle,con una ubicación inmejorable..Carlos es un anfitrión excelente,se ha preocupado en todo momento de que estemos agusto y no nos falte de nada,al igual que nos ha dado muy buenas recomendaciones de la zona, también tiene una empresa de turismo de aventura "Matarraña Aventura"con diferentes actividades y estuvimos un día haciendo la excursión en bici por la vía verde que hacen ellos de Cretes a Pinell de Bray y disfrutamos muchísimo!! Super recomendable la excursión y la casa!!. Repetiremos en breve!!
