Reviewed By 78grantdFirst, I'm a top tier member at Choice and I requested an early check in. Which was denied. No biggie. I came back later to discover that even though I booked a non smoking room they had reserved a smoking room which I them change. Go to pay with my card and I was told that since my card doesn't have a chip, I'd have to pay cash. The thing is I watched 2 other guests get coned into paying for both room and deposit via cash for other supposed reasons. Most hotels try hard to shy away from having to accept cash and even if they do take cash, it's not without a card held on file for deposit. This hotel was promoting using cash. Which I find very suspicious. They are either cooking their books, to cheap to pay the credit card fees, or worse, trying to keep both the room and deposit money using cash. I called Choice and switched properties and advised them of this sketchy hotel. Just a mile down the street is a comfort inn which is “normal”.

Clean, Friendly, Helpful and Reasonable

Staff helpful about surrounding area like good eating places and what their known for like a burger place that serves a big amount of the best seasoned thick cut fries. Breakfast serving both hot and cold items with all being served in a very well maintained and clean area. Price was very reasonable and was well worth it!

Reviewed By NeilVacation1First impression was not good. There was someone smoking pot in the parking lot when we pulled in and the hotel has this funky smell to it. Also, the hotel is located in the middle of an industrial area w/ the highway right across. So it seems very desolate and uninviting at first. But when you get your room, it's pretty nice. We had a 2 bed room and the beds sheets/pillows were clean and there was enough room for both of us. I was expecting a dungy bathroom but it was nice as well. Good room for the shower and sink/toilet. Also very clean. Yes, there is some funky smells in the rooms that others have pointed out. I'm not sure where it comes from but you smell it and I guess we get use to it. It's not overbearing but a bit of an annoyance. Maybe it comes from the Air Conditioner. But best thing was proximity to the university. You don't need to take the highway from here to get to the university. Side streets and you'll be there in about 10 min time. Price was cheapest in the entire area of hotels. Booked thru Costco Travel. For a 1-3 day visit the hotel will suit your needs.

Also walking Distance from Chuze Fitness, Arrowhead Regional Hospital and Food 4 Less.

It's direct tv they blame the tower connictions direct has no towers its all satilite controled!!!! when my microwave went out they would do NOTHING about it. There were ants & maggots in my room & still did nothing. they evan complained about me drinking beer in my room. I'm 60 years old!!! Don't stay there!!!

Reviewed By Bobby31225I spent two nights here while visiting my girlfriend in Grand Terrace. Room was just fine and nice friendly staff. Only thing I noticed was wrong is that it would be nice for a hook in the bathroom to hang your clothes on and no luggage fold out stand to put your luggage on.Otherwise a very nice room! Comfortable bed, nice floor and clean. I would stay again!!
