cold shower and loud air
Reviewed By charris2189Air conditioner was loud and the shower wasn't warm at all we slept like crap and wasn't a comfortable stay. We tried to call and complain and you can't get ahold of anyone. The people at the front desk were friendly but trying to call is out of the question

Horrible experience
Reviewed By Darlene9800Room had dirty laundry from the previous guests and toilet had urine stains on it. When I called the front desk to let them know they said they would send someone to clean it up, noone ever came. We were there on the same night as an athlete team was and there was so much noise coming from the hallway, screaming and laughing all night. I complained to the front desk and manager. I was sent a coupon in the mail for my next stay which would expire in a year. I'm from out of state but have family in the area. I called to book another night seeing that I had the coupon which would expire the on the same week I requested the Friday (2 days after expiration date) manager or staff would not accommodate. Manager Jonathan wouldn't even take my phone call. I'm very disgusted with this place and staff.

Reviewed By epsharonWas looking for an inexpensive place to crash for one night during a golf trip. This place was just about perfect for our needs. Check in was quick and easy and the staff was courteous and helpful. Room was average size but clean, beds were comfortable, shower pressure was good and it was quiet. Bonus for having a mini fridge with a separate freezer section and it had a safe. Continental breakfast was a plus and they had a waffle maker. Highly recommend.

Nice Hotel
Reviewed By Retired1dayStaff was very helpful, knowable and quick. Room was clean and room service did a good job. Breakfast was good. Eggs, baskets and gravy, potatoes, coffees, juice, waffles, cereal, etc. We booked to 2 rooms that were adjoining. The lock on 1 of the doors do not work. I informed the front desk and they promptly sent someone up to fix it.

The room is TECHNICALLY clean, but not what I would call well cleaned. The front desk staff is just seems bored and has no desire to interact with the guests (didn't even great us any of the times we came nor said a word as we were leaving).

Deteriorating Fast
Reviewed By Jack-in-motionAs a Choice Hotels frequent flyer I've stayed here a night or two annually since it was the Fern Hotel. My expectations were always low based on the price and it used to be 'good enough' for a cheap night's sleep, but I'm afraid it's jumped the shark. No soap in the room (had to ask for one at the front desk), the blanket was too short and the sheets are now the consistency of Kleenex. Hardware sticking out from under the box spring found my ankles on a couple of occasions. I initially thought that replacing the pitri dish carpeting with laminate flooring would be a good thing until I discovered that the floor hasn't seen a mop in a couple of years. Stay someplace else. Trust me.

Horrible Customer Service, Tedious Check-In Process
Reviewed By Zack WHorrible customer service, every part of this was tedious and unpleasant. I had a 'non-smoking' room that smelled smokier than a Vegas casino. They took a 50 dollar deposit from me on my card that they refused to give me back the next day. I have called and emailed them and 2 weeks later they still have not returned deposit. This was an absolutely abysmal experience and the owners seem to be greatly incompotent when it comes to hotel management. This was the worst hotel experience that I have ever had. Never stay at this disgusting trash-hole.
