The Cidnay Santo Tirso is located in the center of Santo Tirso, a town with 20,000 inhabitants, the heart of the most developed economic area of Northern Portugal. It was designed to offer comfort and an excellent service together with tradition and modernity. The whole common area with open spaces and inside gardens is an invitation to well being.
I have stayed many times in Hotel Cidnay. This is a first class hotel with first class staff, the reception staff are so helpful and friendly it makes my stays so much easier knowing they will always go the extra mile. The rooms are very clean, spacious and if you have the mountain view rooms a lovely balcony to relax and admire the scenery. Breakfast is varied, with fresh local produce to die for. The restaurant serves quality food with very attentive but relaxed staff. Five star!

An authentic example of farming life in the 18th Century, built predominantly of granite with wooden beams in the interior, Quinta da Picaria nestles in the rural region of Guimarei, a sleepy village near Santo Tirso, the perfect setting for walking enthusiasts.
This Tourism Farm created in a 18th Century Building is a Stunning place. Everything inside building such as furniture doors roof etc.. it is indeed a marvelous place and beautiful. We can move around in the farm pick some passion fruits or kiwis or walnuts it is a nice experience. The bed and mattress is OK in fact it is a very good night sleep and not a single noise. The breakfast is a nice variety the only "NO" is the bread being one day old and in Portugal when we have a culture to eat fresh and warm bread it is a not good thing. I will repeat the experience.
