Outstanding service from start to finish

This may be the best little spot we have been to in several years. It was almost an adventure from driving on curvy fun roads to the stone based entryways. Spectacular attention to detail in the renovation of a historic (my interpretation) spot. A family chapel is in the house. Must see if you are Catholic or even if you are not. We were surprised by the wine vineyard. The owner (Joseph in English) and the house manager, Nélia provided service beyond 5 stars. They helped me find a bridge with my name and some information about my ancestors. Do not miss the supper they can prepare for you. Make sure you tell them in advance. Super romantic, thus the five star plus experience. That actually was the the highlight above the other highlights. I had a Portuguese appetizer that I had never had and is very local. Now I have to go back in two years. We had a four course meal with wine (lots of wine) made from the vines we walked through. Stay at least three nights. If you are a golfer, you can do that, but hey, you can golf back in the USA or wherever you live. There are so many other things to do or just hang out and and eat and drink in the area. There are meat pastries that you can only get in the area. Go to Chaves to the spa. My wife liked it. First class. Make an appointment ahead of time. I could go on and on about this incredible place, but I can’t do it justice.

Agradable y tranquilo

Reviewed By carladv20
