I also loved that we was in walking distance of restaurants and Wal-Mart and HEB. Everything was clean, and everyone was nice we loved it!

Reviewed By Maureen SGood check-in and check-out with friendly staff. Easy access to I-10. The bathroom was recently renovated and the room was spotless. The King bed was comfortable and there were several good restaurants to pick from. Great access to all our electronics. Family owned and it was obvious that the owners paid attention to detail. Highly recommend this place.

It was nice, but could use some improvements to come back.

High chairs for traveling toddlers would be great. Especially for parents that don't allow toddlers to walk around with food or while eating. Real eggs, more batter for waffles, and some other options for breakfast would be great. The lighting in the bathroom for women that wear makeup was horrible!!! The carpets could use a good steam clean and shampooing. Felt a little behind on those deep cleans carpets that are high traffic areas need regularly Staff was friendly and no issues there. Fridge didn't cool well in one of our 2 rooms. Had to use the other one for everything which was frustrating. Needs some deep cleaning to freshen the place and smell a bit.

Avoid if you are concerned about COVID-19
Reviewed By beachboywantabeDuring the COVID pandemic we are careful where we stay. Our past experiences with major chains have been good. But this Holiday Inn Express is a major exception. They seem to be on a COVID Holiday. When we checked-in, the desk clerk was not wearing a face mask, nor was one anywhere visible on her body. The person checking in after us was not wearing a covering, although a gaiter was around his neck. In the morning, when checking out, the desk clerk was sitting at one of the breakfast area tables and not wearing her mask, although she did put in on when she came over to the desk. The hotel is conveniently located just off I-10, but it should be avoided for the next 6 months (at least) if you are concerned about COVID.

Reviewed By godnarI have stayed in many motels. None compare to this place. First they mess up my room. Smoking for a non. They change that. To another rm non-smoking. When I go to turn down the bed there is blood on the sheets!!! Also the it would have been more comfortable to lay on the floor. Last draw for this Rm was ZERO HOT WATER. I go back to the ofc and voice my complaint. They offer to move me to a "DELUX" room, HA! Same sorry bed just no blood on the sheets that I could see. Yes we now have hot water, BUT the AC unit will not cool. NEVER NEVER stay here!! 2 more things. The frig and microwave did not work.
