Reviewed By FiGee2016Central location with bars and restaurants on the same Street but not at all noisy! The room was beautiful and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in in a hotel. Everything was spotless. The only downside was the breakfast, there was not much on offer and the coffee was a bit rubbish.

Reviewed By Paul KWe needed to stop over in Palma del Rio on our cycle ride from Cordoba to Sevilla. Reception telephoned us when we were en-route to ask what time we would arrive, as they are not staffed full time. On arrival, we were checked in, shown around and instructed to log onto their WiFi and download the app to open the doors outside of Reception hours. We were shown to a twin room on the first floor and we asked to swap to a double on the ground floor. The walls are very thick and, together with the solid tiled floors, hold the cold in December. There were virtually no soft furnishings. The in-room air-conditioning was able to warm the room after a few hours, but the floor remained chilly. The Restaurant was closed and so was breakfast service. There is a Nespresso machine available toake your own coffee any time in one of the salon rooms. Our bed was comfortable and we slept well, despite the loud broadcast Christmas music from the neighbouring church steeple loudspeaker together with the bell-ringing. At check- out, Reception was closed and we dropped our room key in the provided basket and let ourselves out using the App. Would we come back? Maybe in warmer months.

Now guests can enjoy in a fantastic environs Convent has fresh, pleasant and beautiful patios. It is surrounded by a Moorish wall that encloses within its walls a unique monastic garden. With good weather, these gardens are employed as a terrace with great music and an exclusive service of cocktails and drinks. People can enjoy a pleasant, quiet and relaxed atmosphere under the stars. Hospederia Convento de Santa Clara has a restaurant. As meeting facilities as a congress hall are also available. In addition, there is a tour desk and luggage storage.

Reviewed By Paula KMy husband, son and I had two rooms here in late August. Finding the entrance is a challenge! But once accomplished, check in was smooth. Unfortunately, check in was the last time we saw anyone who worked for the hotel. Our a/c was not working (and it was 100 degrees) but there was no one to report it to. Every time we went to "reception" the gate was closed and there was no one there. Also, the pool was closed for our entire visit. Other than this, the setting is gorgeous. We had drinks on the patio late one evening and the service there was good. But again, no one was ever available for the hotel. Location is excellent.

This charming hotel is placed in the old town of Palm of the River.The rooms of the House San Jose are provided with air conditioning and an elegant traditional decoration. All the rooms have a balcony, TV of flat screen and connection free Wi-Fi.The hosts will be able to enjoy a breakfast I spat in the dining room of the San Jose. The hotel also is provided with a lounge with a library and a chimney.The House is placed in a picturesque environment, to 30 minutes in car of the nature reserve of Honachuelos. Seville and Cordova are at least of 80 km from the establishment.

Reviewed By mudhitgWell located in the heart of the Town. It's feels like coming home. Large common spaces and very spacious rooms with high ceilings and very comfortable bed. The staff are very helpful and efficient. Loved my stay.
