Selina Milfontes is located in the center of Milfontes, surrounded by sparkling, whitewashed buildings. This is the liveliest area of Vila Nova de Milfontes, full of many restaurants, and stone’s throw from the beaches that surround it. Located halfway between Lisbon and Faro, Villa Nova de Milfontes is a small coastal town with a picturesque, sandy beach. Favored by locals, it’s largely undiscovered by foreign visitors. Delight in traditional Portuguese cobbled streets and remarkable views of the relatively untouched beaches. Enjoy fresh seafood and a taste of real Portugal while catching up on some serious relaxation.
Disappointing experience - bad value for money!
Reviewed By Vania APrivate rooms were in bad conditions for the price you pay. Horrible smell coming from the bathrooms, mold in the shower and flush broken and generally not clean. Several other people staying there reported the same issues in their rooms. Staff was well aware of all issues and pretended it was an isolated case and did nothing to solve it. No real community feeling since restaurant is private and caters mostly outside guests. I love the idea behind Selina but this location lacks seriously in executing it. Never coming back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Reviewed By AmoreviagensO hostel fica cerca de 25 min de carro da Vila Nova de Mil Fontes, uma parte do percurso é feito pela estrada de chão que é cheia de buracos mas a tranquilidade do local faz esquecer o percurso. Os comodos do hostel são bons e bem equipados, ficamos em uma parte da casa que tem um quarto com cama de casal e outro quarto com duas camas de solteiro, casa de banho e cozinha, tudo muito limpo e bem organizado. O Sr. do hostel foi muito simpatico e nos indicou locais para passear a noite, o hostel fica a 15 min de carro das praias de Porto Covo é ideal para quem procura paz e sossego e praias por perto.

Reviewed By Sabine FVon der Wohnung kann man den Markt, Strand und Ortskern zu Fuß erreichen. Man kann ein Zimmer oder die gesamte Wohnung mieten. Es gibt einen schönen Innenhof, der mit drei anderen Parteien geteilt wird. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich plane Bereits den nächsten Urlaub und es ist bestimmt toll alle drei Wohnungen mit Freunden zu mieten. Die Einrichtung ist hochwertig und sehr gemütlich. Die Küche mit Gasherd ist sehr gut bestückt und lädt zum kochen ein. Die Dusche ist super. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Es ist ein netter Ort ohne große Hotels. In der Straße sind Wohnhäuser und kleine Reihenhäuser. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Reviewed By hilanbrenThe good: parking outside, lovely room with space and solid old furniture. Allowed to leave bags there before we checked in The rest: beds: just about ok. Facilities.. a jug of water left overnight and some tea bags downstairs in a communal lounge. On the main road with people and cars throughout the night so had to keep that window shut. Someone smoking at 2am in the garden on the other side, which as a non-smoker is unpleasant. Found the atmosphere and ambiance quite unwelcoming. The photos on booking websites whilst not misleading, made me feel I was in a more leafy spot. Long way from good restaurants

Reviewed By 71dgNous étions un groupe de 4 séniors arrivé le 6/9 au Pirata Hostel pour 3 nuits. D'emblé, la responsable reconnait que le dortoir attribué (8m2) n'est pas conforme à la demande et nous promet de nous déplacer pour les 2 nuits suivantes. Au 2ème soir pas de déménagement possible malgré nos protestations et fin de non recevoir de la responsable. Nous aurions pu comprendre si les autres dortoirs avaient été occupés pour une durée similaire, mais ils furent loués chaque soir à des clients différents. Petite précision, l'établissement n'est équipé que d'un lavabo pour 10 personnes!!! Cet établissement ne mérite pas sa note vu sur certain site, il y a tellement mieux ailleurs à Vila Nova de Milfontes. Guesné dominique
