Casa Marina is a heritage home renovated to include modern conveniences. Great care was taken to ensure the home stayed true to the original. All the wood from the old house were rescued and those that cannot be reused were repurposed into furniture, shelves, flooring and paneling. Even the old furniture such as the Console TV, Tube Radio’s, Living and Dining Sets and Cabinets were kept and refurbished. The result is a well appointed, vintage home complete with all the modern amenities to make your stay convenient and memorable. Our home is located at the center of Pagsanjan Town very near quaint restaurants, bars and shops that line the historical town plaza. Pagsanjan is approximately 2 hours from Metro Manila and can be reached through Los Baños National Highway or Santo Tomas – Bay Connection Road. The latter being the longer yet more scenic as you drive through the foothills of Mount Makiling.

[+] Tasteful, well-considered decor in both the room and common areas - vintage chic. Also fits the architecture of the hotel - a repurposed Spanish era heritage home. [+] Great location - wonderful view of the Pagsanjan River with plenty of greenery. [+] Includes a satisfying breakfast dish (I had tapsi; my partner had crispy biya). [-] Not sound-proofed very well. It's easy to hear other people's conversations, even when they're speaking at normal indoor voice.

Noisy, expensive, no curtains, no hot water

Kids shouting in the pool well after 11 pm, despite rules that say quiet hours begin 11, and I asked the father to keep them quiet 2. At 7:45 am a very loud chain saw began ceaselessly u til we left at 11 am 3. No hot water in the morning 4. No curtains on the two windows at head of bed 5. Floor was dirty w hair balls n more 6. Breakfast was minimal 7. Price was twice that of the much better Casa Marina I would have preferred to stay in Manilas worst district

Reviewed By MejorellStayed here jan 1 2020. The hot spring is ok facilities are not. Old and not maintained the fact they charge high for accomoodation. The room interiors are falling apart and dirty. The restaurant is so so so so so basic but they charge very high ?. Definitely i will not come back for sure there are other better resorts that has good ambience. And before i forget their bed is as hard as wood

Reviewed By JoepepCielosI booked for two (2) times in this facility called Dragon Hotel through Agoda. This cheap hotel is located at Brgy Binan, Pagsanjan, Laguna. They have rooms with air-condition and electric fan. A good and cheap place to stay in Laguna.
