An older property but we enjoyed our stay!
Reviewed By New_friends_GRI was visiting the Van Wert area with a friend over a weekend in March 2022, and we had the opportunity to spend a Saturday night at this hotel. We very much enjoyed our stay! The check-in process was okay, and we were able to check in early which I greatly appreciated. The computer was a bit slow in printing a receipt acknowledging that I' paid with cash for the room, but no biggie. Our room (#317) was clean and comfortable... we had no issues whatsoever. I appreciated the fact this hotel had a business center that I was able to use for catching up on my social media, and breakfast in the morning was very good. The only downsides are that you can tell that it's an older building and that the indoor pool does not have a hot tub (we knew this before we'd made the reservation), but honestly, it's probably the best hotel in Van Wert. Also, we were given a room near the elevator despite my request in the initial reservation for a room away from the elevator. (My request for having a room on the top floor was granted - but not the request about it being away from the elevator.) That last thing wasn't a huge deal and wasn't worth the hassle of going back and asking for a different room. We had no complaints at all. We slept well. Our stay was very nice and I'd gladly stay here again if I ever need a room in Van Wert in the future. :)

Reviewed By jerbuffaloIt was an affordable location during travel. Clean room, slightly dated. Comfortable bed and decent size room. Friendly staff. Great location. The WiFi was fair and required me to use my hot spot. Other than that, decent stay. Good place for an overnight traveler.

Reviewed By JLD60010Old, rundown motel. NOT clean, seriously. You could see visible dust on top of TV stand and on the floor under the desk. We had prepaid for two nights (foolish us) and only stayed the first night. First thing the next morning, we checked out and went to the local Comfort Inn. Do NOT waste your money. a campground would be cleaner.

Reviewed By everlast_34Stopped in here on a motorcycle trip, and even though I was tired, dirty, and ready to take a long sleep, this was probably the worst option in town to do it in. The rooms are dirty, and they stink like air freshener and a hundred other smells. Keep driving. This isn’t the place you want to spend the night in. Gross.
