Very nice place to stay in Setubal
Reviewed By Sybren DWe had booked this place for 2 nights and are very enthusiastic about it. The apartment we had was clean and comfortable. But the most special about this place is the location (next to an old windmill on the top of a hill) with a magnificent view.

Reviewed By CreativejourneymenWe stayed here whilst walking the Rota Vicentina. What a beautiful place. Our hosts were most welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had a really comfortable room with outside day bed to relax once we settled in. We had dinner (need to request in advance) and breakfast here. The food was fabulous. We also asked for a packed lunch and enjoyed a gourmet lunch as well with healthy local produce. It was great value. We would thoroughly recommend this place - a lovely oasis right on the historic way. The old flour mills are in the process of being restored - great to take the time to look at them.

Reviewed By fjmossHigher Quality room option would be good. The lighting in the lower floor adjacent to the stair case fails to come on or a light fitting on the stair case is not working leaving the ground floor very dark at night we were in room 105/1

An amazing space (houses-well equiped, well decorated, pristine) and landscape where we have the freedom to do nice walks and/or cycling through the estate and discover some curiosities like some friendly donkeys, sheeps or an ancient tree. The SPA and the fantastic indoor pool are delightfull. And the cherry on top of the cake: the staff! Very well educated, attentious, competent and most important, friendly. These are people that care about you...and that is priceless!

Nice big rooms with amazing pool, but little overpriced
Reviewed By Yuri_NL16We had a good stay in Villa Oasis. We had the family room for the 4 of us, which was really huge. The villa has a very nice and clean pool - a little cold for this time of year (although our kids still made a swim) - but a real big plus if you visit the place in summer. The owner was very friendly. Why not 4 or 5 stars? We did think it was a little overpriced - sure in comparison to other places in Portugal. The breakfast was ok, but not more then that. Some toast, juice and meat/cheese (supermarket stuff). The rooms were big but a little outdated and the shower took about 5 minutes to heat (and was not inviting). Not really big things, but for the price you pay I expect a little more.

Reviewed By Paryan133Best experience we've had on our honeymoon yet. The staff really care anout what they do and that is obvious from the start. We were welcomed and the local are was explained to us. We were given tips of the best places to eat and what activities we could do - we did the horse riding on the beach which was great. We were even surprised with a bottle of wine and strawberries on our first night to congratulate us on getting married. After staying 3 nights, it was hard to leave this place. The breakfast is amazing and so fresh, the pool is lovely, the beautiful beach is a short drive, there are loads of great places to eat nearby. We loved that the dog, Farouk, just walks around and is always happy to see guests arrive - he was so well behaved. We would love to return here some day.
