Great breakfast and the restaurant service and quality of food was very good. Swimming Pool was a good size, warm and clean. Location superb, close to the river and the canoeing, relatively easy walk in to Town and easy driving route through the Gorge

The manageress is absolutely incredible and probably one of the best front of house team member I have ever met. We were a group of 16 friends who were celebrating a belated 40th due to Covid. We were made to feel so welcome and the hotel could not do enough for us. Truly a magnificent experience. Thank you for everything ???

Fantastic campsite
Reviewed By hollyblue5This is a beautiful, well-run campsite. We stayed in a cabane which was just lovely - peaceful (no cars), comfortable and surrounded by tropical vegetation. There is direct access to the river where you can paddle, swim, float or just enjoy the view from a sun lounger. There are two pools. One is fun for kids with a mini slide, waterfall, paddling pool and lots of play equipment. The other is quieter and more grown up. We used the communal barbecue with friends which worked very well as there are large picnic tables nearby. Acqua Bateaux (on site) is good. We did the 32km route through the gorge which was a tad ambitious with children (I didn’t anticipate how little they would paddle and powering a two person canoe by yourself is blooming hard!) but it was very beautiful. It’s a great location to explore the tonnes of fab places nearby. Our highlights were the Aven d’Orgnac, driving along the Gorge d’Ardeche, the silkworm museum at La Gorce, cycling the Via Ardèche to Vogüé, the Pont du Diable at Thueyts, the Font du Vive and ghost village above Grospierres and canoeing under the Pont du Gard. Would love to return to dig deeper and explore more.

For 24 hours no-one answer to the phone...after that we talk with M.me Corinne, who was asked to change our booking: she close the phone call,,,So we tried to book with Booking and we succeded, but the Director told us that we were not welcome and cancel the booking. Definetely a prehistoric behaviour.

Reviewed By pmcg999The hotel was amazing with the best hosts we have encountered in all our years of travelling - they could not be more accommodating. We are on a cycling holiday and they had secure bike storage. Hotel is well located, immaculately clean and so welcoming. We opted for dinner which was home cooked and amazing value at 24 euros for four courses. If staying in this area definitely use this hotel.

First Impression.... can have a better outcome

Whether lost in translation or our French being poor..we arrived to no one being at the property...The property looked a little shabby so first impressions was not good. After another telephone call we were meet and shown to our accommodation we had been upgraded to the annex which is lovely. We did briefly look at other accommodation in the main house and this looked a little tired .. but we were very pleased with our little home for a few days. All you needed for self catering was available, the Wi -Fi connection is poor, the view from the terrace is peaceful and very French. We on our first night ate at the restaurant which was excellent and very popular on both nights we stayed. Close to Vallon and to tour this beautiful area.
