Come here if you are looking for a fast, on average quality and service and not too expensive solution in the Gorges de l'Ardeche. We came after kayaking. The restaurant was very crowded, and quality and service were definitely impacted by it. We had different dishes, from meat to fish. Overall we were satisfied.

Easily the best meal we have had since coming to France a week ago. We tried to get in here yesterday evening but they were fully booked for eating on the Terrace, which is really delightful. We made a reservation for tonight and it was such a good choice. The food was beautiful, the atmosphere perfect and service certainly came with a smile. Have booked to come back at the end of the week.

We enjoyed our meal. It wasn't spectacular but the place has a nice atmosphere and good service. The pictures show the dishes we ordered. I had the ravioli dish and though the ravioli wasn't made in house it was still good because the cheese sauce that went in the dish was. My husband enjoyed his meal too!

In a nice ambiance we are going to serve locally, refined food (where possible) and an amazing selection of sustainable produce. From local pork and wild boar to goats cheese and chestnuts – all Ardèchoise specialities! There is also an abundance of locally produced wines available. To the aperitif time, the big wood Terrace, overlooking the heated outdoor pool with his nice beach, is going to present you a splendid Panorama on the rocks of the Ardèche Gorge. Just relax and enjoy the sunset. People outside the hotel are also welcome to enjoy the restaurant.

Very reasonable priced menu for the quality offered. I chose seafood with a decent salad, followed by a magret de canard served with local honey, cooked exactly as I ordered it. Finished with three very good cheeses, all in prefect condition. For a solo traveller it was good to find a few 50cl bottles on the wine list

Restaurant serves a 4 course menu for a reasonable price = 35€.
It's quite busy in the restaurant, people who stay in the gites or chambers come to eat, as well as other tourists. So the service was a bit hectic. I got the impression that the food is also driven by the idea that a lot of people have to be served in a short period of time. So most courses were prepared in advance I think.
Quality of the food was ok, as was the wine list.
All in all a reasonable dinner in a nice setting, but I will try another restaurant next time.

We had dinner there. I had noodles which I ordered spicy and were very good. My husband was disappointed with his dish which he found blend. The Thai Springfield are just ok, especially when compared to their Vietnamese equivalent. Good service.

Visited based on trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed! Beautiful food, amazing desserts - the crepe tartin and the Adele were superb, profiteroles were fantastic.
Even though we went on a Saturday night and it was very busy staff were attentive and very friendly.
Caesar salad with avocado ice cream was a highlight as was the duck with blueberries. Definitely worth a visit - we at shopping to go back before we leave the Ardeche.

It's 2 hours south from Lyon.
The restaurant "le 14" has not a proper vegan menu, however - I am grateful that upon request the team prepared me great salat.
What was inside? Surprising and very tasty mix of salad and ... fruits ! Strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, ananas and more.
Great, simple, fresh and tasty plant based lunch
And nice and friendly stuff. Much appreciated!

We chanced upon this restaurant on a trip up the gorge by motorcycle. We were hungry, it was around 1300 and it was the first restaurant we chanced upon. What a wonderful surprise - excellent ~(and I mean excellent) food, service and location. The chef came out and explained the full menu to us (around 20 minutes), how he cooked it , where he got the ingredients and how he looked after them.
Not what we had expected when we stopped as the appearance belies the fact that this place is good - very good!

Nearest restaurant to our campsite (L'ardechois). Small car park can get very busy. Restaurant has an inviting appearance from outside, with a boho chic exterior Seating area. Arriving early evening we were quickly seated by a friendly waitress, who showed us the specials board and offers. My partner chose pizza and I had hamburger maison, followed by panacotta and creme brule. All was well presented and much enjoyed. The staff were friendly and attentive. Would return if visiting area again.
