Driving down the road on the A-1 we saw the sign and decided to stop in. Although a modest structure on the outside the inside was filled with great jams, preserves,ice cream and food. We had the freshly made scones with real whipped cream and decided to have strawberry jam along with mingleberry jam as suggested by Kate. That was an inspired choice with the scones. You will find Kate very approachable and you will enjoy stopping off here as we both did.

We stopped at Spiky Bridge on our way from Hobart to Saffire Freycinet. It is literally a 5 minute stop as others have mentioned, but fascinating because it was constructed by convicts and it is speculation as to why it is spiky. It is at the roadside, but you have to know where it is to see it.

Sally was great from the moment that I initially called her - even changing the timings of the tours to fit around our tight schedule.
The bikes were pristine and easy to ride and the extras of the sweets and water was a nice touch. Sally was a great tour guide, informing us about the local region and the wines and providing a relaxed and informal ride across the paddocks.
We loved going to the 2 vineyards and being able to walk around the vines and learn from the experienced owners. We were even allowed to try the different grapes which i've never had on a wine tour before!
The cheeseboard and additional wine at the final vineyard was especially lovely - just a shame we didn't make it back in time for the bonus tasting!
All in all - highly recommend Sally and the Swansea Cycle Tours!

On our way back from Wineglass Bay and we called into Milton to taste some wine and have lunch. Whilst the winery and restaurant operate separately they complimented each other perfectly. Milton offer great wines and Sofie’s offer great food. Service is excellent and the location is relaxing and offers great views over the winery, well worth a look, Cheers..

A great country museum proving a good overview of the local history with plenty of written and physical objects. There is a good presentation on the bark stripping operation as well as a real life bark chipping and grinding machine powered by a steam driven engine. Great for all ages.

You could easily miss these Beaches but what an unfortunate event that would be. Absolutely stunning, wild and remote Beaches with an impossible turquoise crystal blue water and fine sand. Climb some of the low cliffs of volcanic dark rock and bright orange lichens and just immerse yourself in views. Not to be missed.
