Beware, Worst customer care ever
Reviewed By MaryD750I prepaid for this hotel but was asked to pay again at checkout. I showed the disinterested receptionist a copy of my pre payment invoice(in french) . She assured me I wouldn’t be charged again for the room. I was. I emailed, phoned , contacted Accor hotels customer care all to no avail. I submitted all the evidence but was consistently told I hadn’t overpaid. The manager had no time to talk to me and after 3 weeks I contacted my credit card company, who agreed to pursue the claim on my behalf. This seemed to galvanise the Ibis into action, they eventually agreed a refund after 4 weeks, it took ages to arrive. No apology , nothing. This could have been avoided from day 1 . So no more Accor hotels for me, a loyal customer for years counted for nothing. The poorest customer care experience by miles! Beware!

Reviewed By Paul MWe always stop at the campanile in Riom as Riom is a good stopping point on the way to the south of France and the campanile has always been good value. The rooms have the appropriate facilities with plentiful hot waters and blinds to keep the rooms dark and quiet. The food is exceptionally good value. There is usually an excellent hot buffet, not available this time sadly as there were too few guests. The food we did have was plentiful and good quality.

Reviewed By VictoriaV2061It was our first stay. We were amazed by the cleanliness of the room. Confortable,new and spacious room. Pets accepted. The staff was efficient, quick and very nice. They also prepared our diner (to take in the room) and it was tasty. In the morning we took just a coffee but i saw that the breakfast was rich. The prices are low for what they offer. If there will be an ACE in my way next time, i will choose it for sure. Thank you.

Another overnight stop
Reviewed By Gervase ATo break our journey from Drome-Provence to our property in La Vienne we had booked a room for one night in the 'Hotel Caravelle". Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the owner and after showing us where to park for the night he handed over the key for a room on the second floor. A nice, clean, simply furnished room with a well equipped en-suite bathroom. We spent a very comfortable night and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of breakfast served to us in the morning and even more pleasantly surprised at the bill with which we were presented upon our departure €62,40 - excellent value.

An outdoor spa to relax, and a truly breathtaking view. Sunrise is amazing. The best part is Dominique, the host, who is one of the most welcoming persons we ever met. She really cares for her guests, and spares no efforts to accommodate their needs. Likely the best option in the area. Merci Dominique, Lily et moi avons adoré nos 2 nuits chez vous!

Reviewed By HaraldurH3We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel du Square. We were greeted by the owner Brynja, who was very helpful and friendly. She also gave us very nice tips on what to do. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and met all our needs and expectations, and the food and breakfast is really good. I will definitely stay at Hotel du Square in the future, and recommend it to anyone needing a room in the area. This is a must place to go to in France :)
