Near the Provencal Drome, to Montelimar in the Drome. The BEAUSOLEIL hotel to Montelimar possesses more than an asset. You are on the Provencal paths, the most beautiful walk of Montelimar, near the park, in a cocoon of greenery. Restaurants, bars most livened up by the city of Montelimar, the station SNCF, cinemas, the conference hall, the tourist office are close. The house is nevertheless very quiet, shielded from the traffic. It is also a building of character, style 1900. Only the pets of small sizes are accepted please; Thank you for your understanding

Reviewed By Søren NCozy smaller hotel in the center with private parking. Very helpful and friendly owner, nicely decorated, nice room with fridge and nice big bathroom. Good selection for breakfast that was also served with a smile. Very good value for the price.

Reviewed By traveggieThis hotel is in a nice, quiet location next to a big courtyard with a museum and 2 restaurants. The old town is just 10 minutes walk away. There is underground parking for 7 euro's a night. The rooms are good, a bit bigger than average Ibis hotels. It does have some negative points though. The mattress cover has a plastic lining, which makes it very hot/sweaty and uncomfortable. When we checked in we were not asked for our Covid pass/QR code. The breakfast is a covid nightmare. The buffet is in a very small, kitchen like space. There is a sign that only 2 people at the time can enter, but neither the guests or the staff seem to care about this. When we arrived we waited for the 2 people in the buffet area to get their food and drinks, only to be overtaken by other guests. When we finally did get our turn, many other people came in after us, which made it very crowded. When I pointed this out to an older French man, who came very close indeed, he shouted at me "we are all vaccinated and if you don't like it you should go home" ! There was no staff around at the time. We decided to forget about the free breakfast and went to a bakery in town, where people did keep a distance. Later I seen that the buffet space was still crowded and noticed a member of staff squeeze her way in between the people without commenting on the situation.

Breakfast costs 8 Euros was very meagre although the pictures of the breakfast in the lift showed scrambled eggs and bacon, cereal, fruit etc we got two small croissants a small pack of jam, a yoghurt a very hard role with a prepacked slither of cheese. The staff very indifferent to requests

Reviewed By christravel123897We got a room with pillows without pillowcases. The reception couldn’t help us with pillowcases and the staff was rude. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to this place. Choose another hotel in this village.

Better to skip the climate because the stench intensifies. ventilation apparently only takes place by guests. last visit 8 or 9 years ago, since then nothing has changed in the rooms in terms of color or furniture. only the lobby and the restaurant area is apparently more recent as it was moved from one building to another. Restaurant staff was hopelessly overwhelmed when we were there. So they tried several times to get rid of drinks ordered by other guests from us but wanted to get rid of our ordered food from the other guests when we then tried to make it clear to the waitress that we had ordered it, it almost failed due to language difficulties (besides my mother tongue German, I can still speak English and Spanish only no French) the service but only French. the only person who could speak English was at the front desk. Sadly for a hotel chain like Accor.

A renovation project was recently completed. Part of this project was the creation of 5 guestrooms, each with on-suite bathroom, and the installation of an elevator that serves all floors. Daan and Clasien welcome you in a Villa that was decorated with fine taste and where comfort marries with elegance. The Villa has about 50 restaurants at walkig distance. We welcome children as of 15 years of age.

Reviewed By GrantStretchThe first impression is a huge wow when you pull up to a house that looks like a mini chateau, clearly once a very influential house. This continues into the house and the room I had was huge although as it faced onto the balcony where people sat it felt a little exposed. The location is fantastic being a short walk into the restaurants in time and the hosts do their best to make you feel welcome, although being a reserved person this could feel intrusive and a little over bearing. Although a great house and fantastic location I felt it was a little expensive.

Reviewed By Ilse197205As we got stranded on the A7 highway, we had to stay the night in Montélimar. The first hotel we walked in to did not only have a room available, but also welcomed our little dog. The room was neat and tidy and the bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast "petit dejeuner" the next morning can be better called a "grand petit dejeuner", because it was in buffet style with fruit, yoghurt, eggs etc. Because we were going home with a rental car, we asked if they perhaps had an old towel which we could use for the backseat for our dog. No problem and they would not accept any payment for it. We fully recommend a stay at this lovely hotel in this middle age little town!

The restaurant was exceptional good selection for food and wine.
