First week of the year
Reviewed By A2HesselbaekResort is quite far away from Kenting, which is the place to be in south Taipei. We had a car, so it was not a issue. Big breakfast for 300 ntd, ok dinner at the resort restaurant, fairly priced. You can choose between a la cart or hot pot . We arrived Sunday night and it seemed not many ppl were at the resort. A lot of activities are closed due winter season. When we arrived, they told us that car can not be parked at the cabin. They had small busses driving 24-7 between car park, cabins etc. Unluckily it was raining the whole week of our stay and usually the busses had open sides, so oftentimes we got wet. You can order the bus by calling to the front desk. It would take appx. 5 min the bus to arrive but no idea how busy it will be when it is high season We checked in and then realized that our cabin and our kid's cabin were very far away from each other. We asked if they could change, they couldn't do that. Later that night another family moved into another flat in our cabin and then we discovered that walls are paper thin. It felt like 15 ppl moved in - kids, parents, grandparents. Rest of the family had a cabin next to our house but apparently they just liked to spend time in our cabin. As the rest of the family went back to their cabin to sleep, we also went to bed just to find out that our neighbour's baby was a light sleeper. Sometimes the baby fell off the bed, sometimes he just cried but unfortunately no sleep for us either. Next day I asked if we could get another cabin because a week of that would really ruin our holiday as we were there for diving as well. We got another cabin, slightly more worn out as the first one but quiet and we were happy. They changed towels every day although the sign said if we put them in the shower area, they will change them. Toiletries: toothbrushes, shower cap, shower liquid and shampoo, razor, soap, comb new every day We were out most of the time anyway. Went to the beaches in Kenting, go karting, diving and dining in Hengchung, movies in Pingtung (very long drive) etc. Staff was friendly and helpful, only one driver got annoyed because my Chinese wasn't good enough and he didn't understand that we wanted to got to the parking lot. Usually they always found somebody who could speak English. I can speak a little Chinese but not enough to have a complicated discussion. When we left, more ppl were arriving, we counted 5 busses/the parking lot was half full so the resort must be quite popular despite the locatio

Reviewed By Nat242424An amazing stay at Winson's House. Winson himself was so helpful throughout our time there. The rooms were so nice & clean. Location wise, you are RIGHT on the beach! Breakfast was really good! All in all we enjoyed our stay so much and can't wait to return!!1

A fabulous little gem
Reviewed By kall90This is a wonderful little find if you're down in Kenting National Park. I'd recommend having your own car/bike to get around. It's surrounding by beautiful scenery. The decor of the villa is wonderful. We had a lovely breakfast served to us outside on the deck.

Great accommodation in a super friendly little village
Reviewed By brentwnz131We stayed in the family room with our kids (aged 11 and 13). We had a great stay. The mattresses were comfortable and the room was spacious enough for us. Breakfast was good and there are plenty of places to hang your wet gear (washing machine is also provided for free, with powder which was a great touch!) The beach is an easy walk and there are multiple places to hire surfboards. The waves weren't very big when we were there so it was perfect for us to swim and for the kids to practice surfing. There are multiple signs about rips and dangerous sections so it would not be the best place for little kids. The town is small but we had some great meals, be prepared to eat early though!

Delicious Breakfast and great surf boards
Reviewed By travelforbiznfunReally impressed with the breakfast- more than just toast and jam. We had fruit and eggs one day and bacon and toast and eggs another. The coffee was gourmet. We came out for a quiet surf weekend and to celebrate our anniversary. We were surprised they didn't charge for the surfboard rentals (great paddle board if you are proficient and have good balance)- otherwise solid longboards for the slow breaking waves. Cute little girls in the family and fun local dogs hang out in front. Not close to town- so hit up an atm on your way. It's quiet and peaceful. Good vibe at the break and good for beginners.

Reviewed By TheresaYin老闆是專業衝浪達人，所有民宿設施都是老闆自己親手建造非常精緻，很多小細節都令人感覺舒適用心。有六人、四人上下舖也有雙人房，環境非常乾淨冷氣很強，廁所也有兩間不會衝突。早餐是老闆親手製作口味超讚，每次來墾丁旅遊必選民宿。

Expect to chill out
Reviewed By KB CIf your expectation is a clean room with a nice staff and filling breakfast on a calm area near the surfing beaches of Jialeshui, you are in luck. No, it is not 5-star Western hotel standards. Our room was a tad small for four people (2 adults, 2 teens) especially since it rained every day. But, the owners are so nice and breakfast was yummy. They accommodated vegetarian. The location has gorgeous views even if you don't surf in this sleepy town.

Reviewed By Cheryl K接近大自然跟星空的領域，天氣好有機會看到整片星空！園區內的生態很豐富~還有專屬管家接待。最重要的是有特別客製化的特色餐點跟服務，讓人覺得賓至如歸。很超值的享受。而且接待的管家還可以帶我們去秘境探險！就連浮潛行程也可以跟管家報名參加，他還會帶客人去海邊玩專屬行程。很棒的住宿體驗，下次有機會一定還要再來！ 一個遠離塵囂的渡假Villa~~讓人徹底融入當地的自然環境。

Beautiful Ocean Views
Reviewed By kkluversWhitelance is a unique property that boasts some of the best ocean views in Kenting! the room was modern and spacious. It's clear that the owner, Lance, put his heart and soul into designing this property. A lot of the woodwork you see was built by him! It rained most of our stay and we were happy to have such a comfortable room to relax. I recommend spending the extra money and booking the sea view room with a balcony. The views are unparalleled and the mattress was the softest we'd encoutered thus far in Taiwan. Breakfast was delicious and filling. We would gladly book this place again! Keep in mind Whitelance B&B is about a 15-20min drive from Kenting. If you don't have a car or it's raining, it might be difficult to access beaches, restaurants and convenience stores. However, we rather enjoyed being away from town and the hordes of tourists it attracts.
