Reviewed By 736pattyrAvoid unless no other place available. Dirty, ragged and smelly. Accident closed highway so we were thankful to find a bed, but be warned this is a most unpleasant place. Dirty sink, rug had ragged edges and torn. We have stayed at other Microtel that are totally acceptable, not sure why this one is at the bottom of the pond.

Not surprised. That is the quality of people that own this Dump. No cover on "light fixture." Wall switch NASTY. LOOKS LIKE IT'S NEVER BEEN CLEANED.

Manager Refused refund for uninhabitable room
Reviewed By rockymntnManager (Ashlynn) refused to provide refund for the room which was not habitable. They had earlier in the day re-varnished ALL THE DOORS TO ALL THE ROOMS in the hallway; most doors were left cracked open to dry (using the security latch). We attempted to stay in the room. Text messages from our credit card company show checked in around 3:15PM.... And additional charges from a different hotel 2 miles away at 4:10PM. No other rooms were available that would accommodate our pet dog so we were forced to leave. Ashlynn was not truthful to Choice Hotels.com regarding our check in time and check out time....overstating the checkout time to AM... Evidently her clerk (which she terminated recently) did not execute the check out. That is her responsibility. Take ownership of an employee's fault and satisfy the customer. Ashlynne is a manager that simply wants to take your money regardless of issues. Dishonest. Looks for ANY excuse to avoid refunds even if the hotel is not habitable. Bottom line: IF JUST ONE CUSTOMER AVOIDS THIS HOTEL dDUE TO THIS REVIEW Ashlynne loses the equivalent of the amount that she refused to refund me. I TWO GUESTS CHOSE TO STAY ELSEWHERE SHE GETS WHAT SHE DESERVES. AVOID SLEEP INN MANCHESTER TN at ALL COSTS!

The worst front desk in the country!
Reviewed By 208alexeitIf you want meet the worst and the rudest receptionist in the country, you have to stay in this hole. Strong strange smell in the room. I highly recommend you to pay extra and book a better place! P.S. We checked into the hotel April 15th 2022 about 8:00 pm. The hotel manager pay attention to your staff, if she can't meet guests properly fire her!

Reviewed By 687520ljgPros: The hotel was nice and parking was accessible. Staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The eggs at breakfast were good, however options were very limited. Cons: There was mold growing on the shower. Prepandemic, bottled water was offered to Hilton members, not this time When we got ready to check out there was no coffee in the lobby. The biggest issue though is we paid $100 more per night than in 2020. The warning is that the average family cannot pay this. I realize that costs have risen dramatically and businesses have to cover their costs, but the trajectory this economy is on is NOT sustainable.

The suite had a sleeper sofa that was ripped and torn. Breakfast was very good. I am a 20 year veteran us navy and a rewards member.

DISGUSTING
Reviewed By Compass599274I didn't expect quality at this price point, but I did expect CLEAN. The room had a an awful stench. I can't even describe it. It almost knocked me out opening the door. The floors were not vacuumed. The carpeting is dark and you could see stuff all over the floor in almost every space. There was a hair on the sheet when I pulled the cover back. The blankets have cigarette burns (non-smoking room) and are stained up on the underside (do they even wash them?!), the lampshade was disgusting...yellow from years of smoking (again, non-smoking room). I was afraid to even touch it to turn it on and off. There was a film of dirt/nicotine covering it. The bathroom door was filthy and apparently never wiped down, and the fixtures and plumbing with dirty, old caulk was just gross. The room itself has not been updated since it was originally built. The curtains are lined, but NOT blackout. I don't think they were even hotel curtains. The bedding, pillows and mattress were original and not comfortable at all. Just not worth a "budget" price even.

You can tell that they take pride in what they do from every facet. We will stay again for sure the next time we take a trip down south. Thank you!
