This is a great park for many reasons. Sure, it's beautiful. However, the educational aspect is fantastic. If you have kiddos, and even if you don't, you will love to tour the site and also spend some quality time inside learning the historical aspect.We are very proud of our interpretive and historical programming. Thanks for recommending us for this great learning opportunity!

We were met by Diana (hope I got it right) who was just loaded with facts about the location, the history and the current status of this distillery. Small tour groups started off in the store area. We were told that the Post Office was housed at the George Dickel Distillery and so we filled out post cards to mail to family and friends to get the on them. No stamps needed - all supplied by Dickel's. Total tour took about 90 minutes to include the "tasting" at the end. Just don't think you're on the wrong road on your way there because it turns into 2 lanes and some of it is a bit rough - unlike the WHISKY (no "e" in their name) which is smooth

The beans Creek winery is right off of I 24 and was an enjoyable time. You can taste 11 wines for $10 or 6 for $6. They did provide crackers, a little cheese and a square of chocolate. We bought several bottles on the way...MoreThanks for stopping - we are so glad you enjoyed it! The $10 tasting does include the full tasting list for that day, which ranges from 10-14 wines. Maybe next time you stop you will get lucky with a 14 wine day!!

Short walk from the road on a private piece of property. Little hard to tell where it is as the signage in not prominent. Hard to believe it's only a few hundred feet from a private residence. Well worth the drive, pictures don't do it justice.

The four-day festival aims to bring together the best of all genres of music ranging from pop to rock, R&B, metal, funk, and country, as well as notable stand-up comedians and visual artists. Festivities are held on a 700-acre farm, complete with sprawling camp grounds ready for tent-pitching and RV hitching. At its core, Bonnaroo feels much like a modern day Woodstock with hippies, good vibes, and the occasional mudslide included.

Although I have not been to Bonneroo the past couple of years, I have been to all the others. It is definitely a different experience. There is music from all genres, games to play, movies, shopping, food, and camping in what is a cow pasture the rest of the year. The negatives are that it is usually hot and humid with minimal shade and usually some rain, there is a lot of walking, and only minimal bathroom facilities with porta potties filling the void. That being said, there are 80,000 very pleasant, polite folks from teenage to senior citizens looking for a good time. I would advise everyone to go at least once.

Several trails, mainly easy, that lead to waterfalls and creeks. Interesting variety of forests, and perfect spots for kids to play in the water. I highly recommend exploring this gem of a place.

This craft store offers quality crafts and reasonable prices. All members of the Association have passed a Standards Test before being allowed to join and display their work. The store has operated successfully for 35 years -- operating with a Board of Directors and all volunteer workers. Many travelers on I-24 have discovered this store and make it a regular stop on their travels.

Old Stone Fort Golf Course is a great asset to this area. It's a casual golf course , so it's a great place to take the kids and a great place to practice and learn. Beautiful setting along the Duck River. We've spotted wildlife such as deer, wild turkeys, otter and other creatures on different days of playing.

The most amazing antique shop we have ever been in! Everything is restored and amazing. There is a big main building full of great stuff and then there is a general store with antique goods, and several other buildings to look through. This place is way down a road off the beaten path almost turned around thinking we missed it. So glad we kept driving it was worth every minute of it.

The 250-acre May Prairie is a recognized National Natural Landmark located near Manchester, Coffee County , Tennessee. The one-mile loop trail is a bit finicky but sufficient for exercise. The mosquito’s were more than plentiful during the time of our visit but overall is a nice little prairie and swamp area worth visiting at least once.
After turning off U.S. 41 be sure to watch carefully for the small parking area which is on the right side of Asbury Road as it is not prominently marked.
