Reviewed By cathc970The most uncomfortable bed I’ve tried to sleep on. The bathroom was tiny, the bath would only fit a small child, the washbasin was outside the bathroom. It was very expensive for a very, tired outdated room. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Big disappointment
Reviewed By angularscotThis was an expensive hotel providing budget hotel reality. On the positive side the room and bathroom were clean. Fantastic location but it doesn’t make up for the other defects. Stained carpet, marked duvet cover, unwiped side table with tea stains and in a drawer another guests 7 day tablet box with tablets, rotten window frame, rings missing off of curtain track and no cups to make a cup of tea/coffee. However the worst fault is the lack of soundproofing from other residents rooms. A rude 630 am wake up call from the neighbours TV and the movement in their wardrobe was unbelievable.

Location is perfect for the foreshore and close to all the local shops, etc. We had a studio, bright and decorated clean, with a microwave and tea making / fridge. On site pool if you want one. Reviewed By Murray TI can only think that the reviewers bad-mouthing this place are either ridiculously fussy or are running some sort of agenda. On a 9 say trip around Vic and the Coachman is at least as good as most of the others I stayed. Room was clean and tidy, good bed and bathroom clean and looks to have been upgraded. All the usual facilities you expect - small kitchenette, tea and coffee facilities, sink and microwave. Short walk into town. As others have noted there’s stairs so probably not ideal if you have mobility issues. On the plus side that allows for undercover parking.

Reviewed By Jennifer M2 nights stay in “California Room” at Lorne World. Really lovely room, comfortable bed, clean and a great view of the ocean. Tea, coffee, microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee maker provided. Lovely outdoor area with chairs and tables to relax and enjoy the view.
