Kafe Kaos is a fun retro cafe with retro laminex tables and other bits of interesting retro decor. I went there everyday last week while I was in Lorne. Staff are friendly, service was good, free wifi, coffee was fine and the smoothies were yum. I will be returning on my next trip to Lorne.

Still the best place for thin crust pizza. The base is delicious and toppings are generous. Service was friendly and efficient. Thankfully it was after 8pm so this place wasn’t as busy so the wait was around 20 minutes. Great Seating options if you want to eat in. Located in a quiet park of the street with parking.

Booked because just arrived in Lorne and Cuda sounded best option for dinner on reviews.
Did not disappoint! A slightly underwhelming room - we opted for more characterful outdoor Terrace but both food and service were top notch. Particular mention of Kingfish cerviche and the citrus chicken - one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever tasted. Served by smiling and witty French waiters. All in all astoundingly good and after Melbourne - seemed very reasonably priced!

Although we could not fault the food and did like it, we were expecting a more gourmet experience given the location and price point of the meals. Alarmingly, the restaurant was empty at 730pm on a Friday, lacking the ambience which would be fitting for such a location. A real shame.

What a little gem, after Reading the TripAdvisor reviews given for this place we decided to give it a go ourselves whilst staying overnight in Lorne last month. Was not disappointed, really super breakfast and great value for money. Would definitely visit again.

This restaurant was super packed and it was the most popular for the night with so many people waiting to get a seat and have their orders ready. Despite the crowd, service was pretty fast. We had the fried calamari, the ninja laksa (our favourite, served with generous portion of seafood, even with a crab ), green chicken curry rice and tom yum noodle. The food was not bad but the bean sprout was toooooooo much for my liking and even in tomyam which is a no no... Good to try if u fancy an ASIAN meal which is moderate range eating in Lorne. Other restaurants look pricey though.

You cannot beat the views from this location. Gorgeous warm weather so able to sit outside & enjoy the direct ocean views & watch the surfers. Happy hour wine, cocktails & food offered daily from 3-6 pm. We had the kilo of Port Arlington mussels with thai style sauce & bubbles which were very tasty albeit too salty. This however did not stop us returning for another serve, a very relaxing way to spend the arvo.

Yes iv written a review before when I first come to Lorne but iv brought the family back and we ate our hearts out. Tried many dishes, pasta, pizza. We love this restaurant and left feeling very happy and satisfied not bloated or sluggish like other Italian restaurants. Once again the ricotta gnocchi is my favourite the prawn zucchini garlic chilli pizza amazing. The service was awesome and we had beautiful wine to match the meal. I can’t believe for one minute people don’t like to eat here I drove all the way from
Bendigo for lunch .

Probably the best coffee in Lorne still, and the BLT ciabatta is great. But the till staff are unfriendly and rude, and couldn't care less. We've been here about 10 times over summer and always we find the till staff super rude, barely giving you the time of day or making eye contact. Table waiters are much better! Come on guys, if you hate your job, leave!
