Parking by the waterfront is limited and expensive $12.80 for the day and we got stalked multiple times going back and forth to the car to get items for the kids as well as a picnic lunch.
Beach was clean and not too crowded and there was plenty of places to set up in the shade on the grass.

Walk, cycle or jog around the track, past green lawns and playing fields. Catching the tram is a great way to get to Albert Park. All trams that travel along St Kilda Road stop within easy walking distance of the park and the 96, 12 and 112 trams run past the park from the Melbourne CBD to St Kilda. Limited parking is available for park users within Albert Park (parking fees apply).

This is a beautiful lake and lovely to walk around. Plenty of Seating available to stop and take in the views. From the bottom of the lakes you get a great view of the Melbourne skyline with its buildings towerin over everywhere. Pathways wide so easily accommodate walkers and runners. What a beautiful place to exercise for runners! We walked from Melbourne, quite an easy route and then continued on to St Kilda before returning via the park again. They were already setting up for the Grand Prix. Quite interesting to watch them . Wish we had been in Melbourne to see it.

We asked Sup-Fit to come to our sailing club to offer something different for our members. The team were so professional and easy to work with. Great communication in the lead up to the activities and provided quality gear. I even joined in on a session and learnt heaps, and now have my own SUP!

We had so much fun at McClennand Gallery today. The kids loved exploring all the sculptures and walking around.
We took a picnic and rug and let the kids run around in the metal maze while we watched.
Just note- there is an unfenced Lake that my son was fascinated by so be careful of little ones, and take insect repellent as it is part of the bush and mozzies like the back sculpture park.

The beach is narrow compared with others, but is relatively unpopulated by people (although gulls and terns can be seen). There is a pleasant walk on a well-made path through thick vegetation along the foreshore and some interesting art pieces along the way. With toilets at the Seaford Life Saving Club and many food choices across the highway, it is worth a visit.

This is a slim parking lot at the left of the road down towards to south end of Frankston Beach and provides good views of the bay to the north and of the Frankston not so interesting skyline and the beach. To the back are some of the better housing in Frankston.

We had a wonderful guided tour of Ballam Park Homestead today. the guide was very knowlegable, and friendly. The tearooms at the side of the homestead and the attached museum were also wonderful Would highly recommend this tourist attraction to those interested in historic houses and hearing about the lives of those that lived in them. For the less able bodied, there are stairs to 2nd level, but there is a hand rail of course. Plenty of parking, and easy to find...

This Park links Frankston Waterfront with Frankston's George Pentland Botanic Gardens. Here you can use the walking and cycling paths to circumnavigates the park. There are also barbecues, drinking Fountain and bins for your rubbish. There is a lovely creek lined with large boulders and river pebbles, grassed picnic areas and shade trees. You can bring your dog if on a lead and in your control.
There is an ornamental lake with two raised viewing platforms suspended over the water's edge to view a variety of seabirds and water fowl.
For the kids, there is a great playground with 5.8 metre high climbing net, combination unit with cubby house and slide and a toddler's climbing net.
If the weather is inclement there is a sandstone-clad pavilion providing shelter from the elements. There are also 3 outdoor fitness stations are located around the Park suitable for those over 12.
In the past, Beauty Park was known for its association with Lord Baden-Powell and the Scouting Jamboree of 1934. The semi-abstract sculpture by Australian artist Deborah Halpern was installed on 6 December 2002. Deborah's work is well known world-wide for her pieces spread across Melbourne - The Angel at Burrarung Mar and Southbank.
