Lovely small hotel in a traditional chalet in a stunning location
Reviewed By DrkatelucyWe enjoyed staying in our large ground floor room when looked out across the valley to the stunning mountain side opposite. We came to do Cross country skiing, so we were happy to have the small cabin at the start of the pistes right next door ( visible from the bedroom window). The pistes do not open until 9am so people being around was not a problem. You can take off directly from the hotel to go skiing on several local loops as well as skiing to the local village of Le Grand Bornand. You can also connect with ski pistes at Chinaillon and La Cluzaz via ski bus. We were reliant on the local ski bus to get around as we came via TGV to Annecy and Altibus, no car. They were very efficient, but they stop too early (6.50 back to the hotel) to be able to use them to go into the village to eat in the evening. There is a great local restaurant and bar across the road, but it was closed on Monday and Tuesday evenings. If you are going for a short break without a car, book Wednesday to Sunday! Anna was very friendly and helpful. She will make sandwiches to take out or eat in with if ordered in advance.

Heartless hospitality
Reviewed By NanetteKEarlier this week we made a reservation at this restaurant for last night to celebrate our 1rst wedding anniversary. When we arrived at the time agreed, the restaurant appeared to have made a reservation for one week later. We were very much disappointed, but we do understand these type of mistakes unfortunately do happen sometimes. The entire restaurant was empty when we arrived. We were told however the restaurant was fully booked for that evening and that they were sorry. You would expect a respectable restaurant tries their utmost to fix the misunderstanding, shows what hospitality is and fits in the guests that in the table setting when you made a mistake; especially when you remember they have a celebration. Instead we were offered to wait for an hour or so (in an empty restaurant at that moment!).

We love everything about this place: the rooms are beautifully renovated and provide every comfort, the food in the restaurant is really very good, the lounge area is charming and perfect for apéro, the swimming pool and jaccuzzi are really nice to relax after skiing, and the hotel is a short walk from the bus stop en route to the telecabines. It has everything we like and need as a family to fully relax and enjoy a weekend of skiing.

The breackfast was perfect with excellent variety of food. What i liked most of all and the first thing i am recalling when thinking about this hotel is BATH TOWELS! they were unbelievably soft and perfect! Dear Hotel, could you please give me a guidance what label they are to purchase for my home?

We were luck having a room facing the church and mountains with a large terrasse. Breakfast was great as well. Nice staff, helpful. We tried the restaurant. Good value for money. Local food with great cheese.

Reviewed By Wander619816After reading reviews I wasn’t expecting much. However, this aparthotel has been very much underestimated. It is clean, a great location, staff are very helpful. Apartments are smaller than they look on the website, we stayed in a / bed - 6 person and there was 4 of us, it was perfect. Think 6 adults would struggle but up to 4 adults and 2 children, it would be fine. The staff at the ski hire shop under the aparthotel opposite the tourist office were very friendly and helpful too. If you are looking for a short ski break with just a 60 minute transfer from Geneva Airport, it’s perfect.

Reviewed By MrFox51A family run hotel to a very high standard. Excellent local cuisine, flexibly catering for all tastes. Great location overlooking the slopes, easy walking distance from all activities. Ski lockers provided. We return repeatedly to this hotel, as the food, service and ambience are impeccable. The food and its presentation is outstanding and imaginative.
