Reviewed By sandicorrMy husband and I stayed here two years ago. The hotel is clean, the staff is very pleasant and helpful. The on-site restaurant was very good with several choices of entrees..great wine selection. We enjoyed our time very much. Will most likely stay here again when I return in June 2019.

Reviewed By alberto_emeThis is a very nice small hotel. The location is inside a quiet farm and the hotel has a very good swimming pool. My room was very good with a pleasant balcony facing the swimming pool. The breakfast was good, even in covid-19 time and the restaurant was good as well for a dinner. Disliked having to decide the food choice for dinner several hours before (covid-19 procedure, I believe)

Stunning property and so very clean 10/10
Reviewed By HorspoolAlfredo was really helpful with my booking and everything was spot on when we arrived. We took two rooms next to each other and both were decorated beautifully. The twin bedroom had a jacuzzi bath and a shower. Both bedrooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is lovely and the room it’s served in again clean and beautifully decorated. The whole property is spotless. Such a rare find, that I almost thought not to tell anyone because it’s unspoiled, so very clean and stunning. Will definitely return again and I really can’t recommend it enough.

Quarto cama de casal, televisão, casa de banho privada, uma cozinha equipada com microondas, frigobar, fogao de 2 bocas, panelas, torradeira, maquina de cafe, panelas, pratos, tudo completinho. Area externa com uma piscina linda, jardim bem cuidado. D. Manuela (proprietária) uma pessoa incrivel e muito querida, com certeza fez esta estadia ser melhor ainda. Só tenho que agradecer!

Delightful Stay in the little town of Gouveia
Reviewed By Tracey GWe stayed here for 3 nights as we were attending an event in the area. Maria was very welcoming and was always available for whatever we needed. Maria speaks very good English. She explained the town to us and let us know about all the local restaurants. There is an optional breakfast and as there were some other guests having breakfast she served breakfast in the most delightful breakfast room I have seen. It was a glass house in the middle of the garden. Lovely way to start the day. The hotel was a few minutes walk from all the restaurants. Maria directed us to a great sunset spot where we enjoyed a glass of wine. Just remember you will have to pay cash (there are ATMS in the town) – we were aware of this from the booking site. Very clean and comfortable. The garden is a delight. Could be a little hard to find at first, our Tom Tom came in handy and there is some parking outside the hotel. I would love to return here for a few days of relaxation.

Mixed feelings, but overall OK
Reviewed By irak628Our room was small but clean and had nice antique furniture and the basics. It lacked a mirror and a TV. We were able to set the room temperature to our comfort level, but the house, and the halls were cold. This mattered as the bathroom was shared and you had to go outside your room to use the bathroom. The house had the charm of an old house and there were antiques all around. As this is a guesthouse, there is no one around and no front desk. However, the proprietor was responsive to all emails and had given us a phone number if we needed it. Quite adequate for an inexpensive and pleasant enough stay.
