Reviewed By torsp2022Before arriving I was slightly worried about the bad reviews but once I arrived I was put at ease………. Hotel very clean, bedrooms spacious and lovely view of the pool. Staff friendly Read some reviews about pool being cold but not at all…….. kids loved all the slides. Food was ok would occasionally struggle to find something to eat for my little boy, but he enjoyed the cakes and chocolate fountain. Sun on the pool all day ? Loved the big screen tvs around the pool Had to be up early for a decent sun bed spot, but that was fine with us. Entertainment was good for the kids Lovely little town with a beautiful beach Taxi to Benidorm cost 16 euros- old town is definitely worth a visit. Only problem was the lifts as they were very slow sometimes it was quicker to just walk but after a hot day you don’t want to be walking to the 9th floor ? Would definitely visit again. Great and Nora on reception and the russian lady in the restaurant were amazing. Breakfast was awesome, so much choice and lots of food. We will return for sure !

Great Place to Stay In Valencia
Reviewed By BlikoflGreat location for this fully, I mean fully, equipped aparthotel: ironing board to washing machine; real oven to coffee maker...the works. You will not need anything except your food. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The kitchen and bathroom are very modern although some large folks will have an issue with the small shower stall. The property is located two blocks from the metro and right across the street from a huge department store. Check out the supermarket in the basement. PIO XII is a great value for your money.

Reviewed By FionaF153Positives Rooms are lovely and modern, beds comfortable, staff nice, close to shops and a fab bar for food the plaza think it was called, the guy doing entertainment around the pool is a one man show but seems to do the work of 3 people effortlessly. Air con was good, shower great, balcony massive, washing machines in basement at 4 euro but fit massive load, close to beach, Negatives, First if you don't want a view of a tin cigarette covered roof ask for higher floor. We asked to be moved. Apparently there is a special way to open patio doors or screws stick out or bits fall off them. Pool very hard to enter if mobility problems as ladder the handles are to low and walking in goes at a slope I found difficult. No drawers in the rooms for clothing, Although they state no stag or hen parties plenty in this hotel. Pool rowdy with groups of young guys, plastic sun lougers some don't even adjust at head rest. Very uncomfortable, seen a girl put cigarettes out on tiles at pool it also states no smoking at pool, told member of staff nothing was said. Disgusting at a pool especially when kids are running around, We just went to the beach as pool area was OK if you were in party mode. This hotel could be a wee gem but should state they allow hen and stags. Shame because it would be a great family hotel

Reviewed By Senga_GlenFantastic place to stay! Centrally located, very close to the Plaza de la virgen, but in a very quiet street and so just seconds from bars and restaurants, and the cathedral. Lovely, spacious apartment. Very clean. Bathroom stocked with a good selection of toiletries, and a hairdryer too. Good WiFi. Very friendly staff - the receptionist was very helpful. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Mon Suites Catedral is a group of refurbished four story old town apartments surrounding two delightful courtyards, these provided lovely atmosphere to our stay as the sound of diners enjoying their paella drifted up to our top floor balcony, the sound proof doors allowing us to turn it off if things got too celebratory... Large spacious apartments, very clean and well appointed, comfy firm beds with spare pillows and duvets, thick luxury towels, hot powerful shower in bath, full kitchen with fridge freezer (but no ice tray?), hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher and even washing machine - amazing how it's all fit in. Location perfect - could see tower bell from balcony, lots of restaurants within minutes of the door Welcome gift in fridge was very appreciated thank you Mon Suites! Not sure how you could have made our trip to Valencia more perfect (maybe an ice tray?)
