Due to quarantine restrictions we had to cut our stay short, it should have been a 4 night stay and we could only stay for one night. We arrived early and could use the parking whilst we went for lunch. We explained our situation and there was no problem at all with reducing the stay (we were still due to pay) and Alma was so understanding and clearly felt very bad for us. She has such a passion for her guests which was very clear! We were able to get an evening flight home and again Alma was so accommodating and allowed us to stay in the apartment and use the pool etc, in her own words ‘enjoy the sun for as long as you can’ which made the whole situation a lot better. In the end we were charged for one night with no extra fees and some drinks thrown in. Incredible customer service and we can’t wait to come back! Lovely magnet to take home too!

Reviewed By CameronangelWe stayed at House Novalia for 7 nights as we were going to Sonus Festival at Zcre beach. It was a really handy location for the festival as the bus stop was at the bottom of the road. The hotel had emailed us when we booked offering to pick us up from the airport which was really handy as it was an hour and a half away. We were checked in quickly and shown to our room on arrival. First impressions of the hotel were it was nice, modern and clean. The room was also modern and clean. Breakfast was open til 11 which we preferred as some hotels breakfast is far to early. The pool was nice, was never too busy and could always get a sunbed. It was a short walk to the beach and town. The owners and staff were lovely and always helpful and made us feel welcome during our stay. Overall we could not fault anything and would definitely recommend staying here!

Reviewed By Mactravel53This is an absolute gem of a family run apartment hotel which delivers at the highest level of excellence. The apartments are spacious and well kitted out providing everything you could wish for if you wish to self cater, (apart from the food for which you have to travel to the supermarket in Novalja some 11km / 15 minutes drive away.) But why bother, when the restaurant is open from 12 noon onwards for a la carte dishes etc and bbq 'under the bell' dishes which you have to order the day before. But all the dishes are delicious, great chef. Great local wine and draught beer, and a great range of ice creams too, all at great prices. The rooms, hotel and grounds are kept scrupulously clean by the lovely friendly staff and if you want for anything just ask, and they'll get it if they can. The sea is 10 metres away from the hotel and although a bit stony to get in it turns to sand within a few metres. There are however lots of urchins around on the rocks and the jetty so reef shoes are advised. The sea is beautifully clear and the swimming in the bay is just lovely, particularly first thing before breakfast...There is also a medium sized swimming pool which is fresh water and lovely and warm. Loungers are plentiful and beach towels provided free of charge or deposit. There is a safe provided in the room but it was portable as it had not been bolted down! Security just did not feel like an issue though so we were not bothered. It is situated in a remote little bay north of Novalja and is idyllic. If you want nightlife then Zrce beach euphoria is the other side of Novalja 15 minutes drive away, but there is nothing other than serenity at the hotel. Perfect. There are some things to do around and about; the olive farm in Lun, the Pag cheese factory in Korun, and Novalja itself with its underground aquaduct. Nothing spectacular but interesting if just chilling out is not your thing. We spent four nights here and were sad to leave, it is just so tranquil and relaxing and nothing is too much trouble. We just loved this hotel and love Croatia and the Croatians. For once I have not a thing adverse to say, not even a nit to pick...we just ❤️❤️❤️ed it. Just go there, I defy you not to love it like we did.

Amazing apartment!!
Reviewed By Colette SCould not recommend this place any more!! Loved staying here. We had an unfortunate stay in a hostel and managed to book Villa Novak in the space of an afternoon. The guy who owns it (sorry can't remember your first name) could not have been any more accommodating. Felt really looked after and safe everything about the apartment was explained to us, he told us everywhere to go in Zcre beach even the times to go at. One of the best customer service I've ever received. The apartment itself is spotless, has everything you need, fridge, cooker, dishwasher, microwave. Air conditioning in all the rooms and the beds were massive and really comfy We had a wrap around balcony and were at the top so the view was amazing. 5 star review, 5 star apartment and 5 star service!! Highly recommend this especially to a group of girls you will be well looked after!!

Reviewed By LadyM1405Located near town centar, 5min walk to the beach and bus station. Apartments have everything you need and are very clean. In the lobby you can play pool or table tennis/football or just hang out. Host is very outgoing and will help with every problem. We will definitely come again.

Ein Schlafzimmer mit großem Hotelbett und ein weiteres Kinderzimmer mit zwei getrennt stehenden Betten. Große Küche mit Zugang zu Balkon. Zweiter Balkon bei Elternschlafzimmer (haben wir nicht genutzt)

The "Ville Sunca" apartments are located in the western, peaceful part of Novalja - a secluded oasis of family tourism. They are very close (400 m) to the Babe sand beach famous for its warm sea and fine sand and the first beach is just a minute walk down below our estate. We offer 8 4+1 apartments for 5 persons max. Four apartments are on the ground floor, while four are on the first floor. We also offer 2 6+1 apartments for 7 persons max. All apartments have air-conditioning (cooling-heating), modern furniture, big screen plasma TV and large seaview terraces covered with awnings. The facility's large front yard also features a private parking secured with an automatic ramp.
Stay away!!!! Horrible place!
Reviewed By 862oskarsReally horrible place. Stay out of there unless you are ready to be in a an apartment for 150€/night with patches all over the walls and banging German techno 24/7. The owners showed absolute lack of flexibility. We were forced to pay by cash immediately, if not they threatened us to throw us out of the apartment. The pool was much smaller than on pictures and occupied by German adolescences eating and smoking inside! Absolutely disgusting!!! The apartment was dirty, there was actual broken glass on the floor, when we reported this, the host laughed an said they can’t check everything. The walls were badly patched, nothing like on the pictures. We were declined parking at first, only after arguing we could park under our apartment. For this price really do stay away and find another place in Novalija.

Awful, DO NOT GO!!
Reviewed By jademillxI can’t express how much i would not recommend anyone going to this place, host sneaked into our room at 3am whilst we slept, we ended up leaving a day early as we were too scared to stay. He knew the password to our safe and said we couldn’t change it, denied coming into our room but then admitted he only came in as he didn’t know if we’d left to go to another hotel. Couldn’t drink or eat round the pool and could only drink what he provided which we had to pay for. The owner was always watching your every move, we decided to leave after looking at reviews on the internet of a number of people saying he’d tried getting in their room so we knew it wasn’t a mistake. No cleaning or anything was done and he was extremely rude wanting more money. Do not go here!
