I am coming to Boskinac for a few years now and simply love the place, ambiance is amazing and calming, which is a nice change from a hectic Novalja nearby.
This year I came with three friends wanting to have some wine Boskinac is famous for.
The waitress which served us was obviously inexperienced and at moments even seemed confused with what is expected of her. We ordered a bottle of red wine,one glass of white wine and a glass of ,,rakija,,. She was bringing us our order in strange order, she would bring us the bottle of red wine (in ice bucket?!) then in a few minutes glasses, then after two minutes the white wine and so on. Did not offer us to try the wine before drinking, did not even pour us the wine in glasses. My friend wanted a dessert,she was not able to say details of some desserts, was going to check in the kitchen but never gave us the feedback. In the end the experience was good,as we really love the place and the wine was amazing as always,but a place with such reputation and aiming to be top restaurant in Croatia simply can not afford to have this kind of service.

We came as 4 families, 16 people. Waiters were helpful, food very good. Although we waited rather long for the food, I recommend it.

A very popular restaurant in Novalja, Pag. I ate pizza and it was good, but nothing special. The atmosphere is nice, but it can get crowded in the evening. The waiter spoke very quietly, I didn't understand him a word. He left us waiting quite some time to give us our money back.

The tavern is located in a small bay on the coast. Among several dives man wants to lose a few hours on food (ideal for a whole day). The food is delicious and the portions huge for a reasonable price (great value / money) and our lunch slowly turned into a dinner,
Owners family are fishermen so fish is fresh and not farmed.
The waiters are pleasant and very friendly.

La Tortilla absolutely MADE my trip in Pag. The nachos are a necessity: the sour cream makes them! Bit disappointed nothing came with Guacamole but everything was still amazing! I then shared the chicken fajitas with my friend and the portions are big! So if you're not hungry, don't think eyes are bigger than belly!! Service was okay- they don't speak amazing English however I didn't mind as the food was amazing! Hope I can go back one day!

Our friend persuaded us to go to Pag for the weekend, we selected accommodation almost accidentally from the photos. When we came, we had nice welcome, tour trough hotel to our apartment. We were really pleased, specially girls. Clean, large bed, two bathrooms, nice view......MoreThank you for your stay and your review! We tried this restaurant because of its reviews on TripAdvisor and it was actually quite a good surprise.
The restaurant isn't crowded nor noisy at all. It's very pleasant to sit there and you might even meet the cat. You don't need to book in advance in summer.
So we ordered some cheese of Pag, an octopus salad, fried squids with extra French fries, a beer and a big bottle of still water for 204 HRK (~€27.50) for two people. The cheese is fine and subtle, the salad is fresh, the squids well fried and not too greasy.
The waitress was nice and smiling, the service was very fast and the food was delicious. However, you might not be full at the end if you like eating a lot; as you may see in one of my joined pictures, the plate is a bit small. It was enough quantity for us though so we are very satisfied with this restaurant.
We would absolutely recommend this restaurant.
