Pont-Audemer is located at the centre of the triangle formed by Rouen, Le Havre and Caen. Francois Bignalet and his team are here to welcome you to Hotel The Originals Acadine Pont-Audemer, a brand-new establishment located on the outskirts of this small Norman city. The three-star hotel boasts 52 modern, soundproofed rooms, two large meeting rooms and a fitness centre.
A modern hotel just outside the central area of the town. Very clean and comfortable rooms with all the usual things you would expect from an hotel that probably caters as much to business travellers as tourists. The breakfast buffet is good but some more fresh fruit would make it even better, No restaurant for dinner although there is a limited rooms service offer. For restaurants, a 10 minute walk down a quiet street with narrow pavements leads to the town centre and a more historic environment.

The B&B is managed lovingly by the owner. She takes pride in the place and make sure to have modern comfort while keeping the original style. The hostess was simply the nicest and her art work decorates the place. It was a bliss to simply sit in the beautiful old yard and a relaxing and tasty homemade dinner. While not in the center of the village, the place is locate within walking distance from the gardens and art museum and the path there is beautiful.

We stayed here for a night on our way to Mont Saint Michel and it was a lovely, warm experience. The owner was a friendly host and spoke English. She prepared a wonderful breakfast for us and even took extra care to provide vegetarian options for my husband. Everything was delicious, locally sourced, and/or homemade. We felt cared for and we were even able to talk with her over coffee before check-out. We stayed in the winter and were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the landscape was even in the middle of January. The nearby towns in the area offer enough of a distraction from the countryside if you need more of a social environment, however I really recommend just breathing the fresh air and watching the birds.

Accueil chaleureux de l'hôte. Petra est une personne disponible. C'est un gîte qui se peaufine. C'est à proximité de giverny. Possibilité de prendre le petit-déjeuner sur place. La chambre occupée est spacieuse.

We had a wonderful time at Les Bois Francs. The cabins where lovely and recently updated, still not quite as good as the English ones but fine for us. There is no oven which we didn't realise but we purchased a reusable BBQ from the Carrefour onsite and was perfect. Bed where really comfortable and slept well. Only 1 toilet for 6 people which wasn't ideal. Staff where super friendly and spoke good English. Pool was brill and really warm, don't need to book a time slot which works out really good with kids. We hired a golf buggy to drive around which was super fun and got us to the activities on time. The only issue we had with the activities was the pony riding. Our eldest daughter was to tall, which wasn't mentioned on the booking so she was very disappointed. She is just over 140 cm which I think was the limit, there was 3 children turned away upset. They also didn't mention you had to where long trouser so we had to rush back to the cabin to get some, again others where in the same situation. The grounds where really well kept and will definitely be going back. The cost is half of the prices in the UK. The journey down takes about 3 hours from Calais. Highly recommend, we had a lovely stay

This restaurant is mainly a hotel, so you MUST reserve if you want to eat here. It's not possible to just drop in, from what I understand. But we had an amazing meal here! Please note that the service is slow, as everything is cooked from scratch. The menu is limited, but everything is home-made and delicious. The owner's grandmother started the auberge many years ago. My husband had a terrine that was made from the grandmother's original recipe. I had a tomato soup with goat cheese. Both were delicious. For the main course, the veal cutlet with the sauce normande (cream sauce with mushrooms) was absolutely incredible! It was accompanied by the best cauliflower gratin I have ever tasted. There were also these delicious small potatoes prepared in the Canary Islands style (cooked in sea-salt water until evaporation) that were great, meaty, moist, and flavorful. My husband and I shared a tarte tatin of apples for dessert that was perfect, light and delicious. The wine menu was very good and reasonable. At the end of the meal, the owner played some a few songs on the guitar for the guests. This was an amazing meal, fantastic food and wine and a very warm ambiance. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful, little hotel with a beautful yard in a small village. Virginie was a friendly host. Room was clean and quiet. Easy to find a free parking spot near the hotel. About 20 minute drive to Giverny and Monet’s garden.
