Upset stomach
Reviewed By 790ingridtReceptionist not so welcoming. Other staff are good. Pero sumakit tyan ko. Not sure if sa shells na kinain ko. Hindi ko tuloy na-enjoy entire stay for my birthday. First day was okay but the next day after eating their unli seafood lumala na sakit ng tyan ko. Better be mindful of what you eat and the quantity. Because of that, wasn't able to swim. Stayed in the room the whole day with upset stomach, lbm, headache and sour body. Another factor maybe the long hikes we made towards seven eleven. The guard said as if seven eleven is near. But it turns out it is way down down near the lipata pier, about 1-2km. Not sure. There's no water when we arrived in our room, as I checked the cr. Buti na resolve din. Live band during the night was good.

Don't let them have your card number
Reviewed By Phileas_Fogg_UKI booked and paid online with Priceline and apparently they processed the booking thru their subsidiary of booking.com, along with my booking confirmation on the same page was my receipt that I had paid in full with my Mastercard. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and they always demand payment upon check-in and never upon check-out, checking-in I provided the receptionist with my confirmation/receipt and I was not asked to make any further payment. Upon my check-out the next morning, whilst they were checking my room, standing there in front of reception, the receptionist, quite unbelievably, charged to my card the cost of the room again, I was standing right in front of her for her to ask me how I would like to pay etc., I scolded her that I had already paid, I showed to her my Priceline receipt for my Mastercard payment, her response was that because booking.com had provided my card number in the booking they just presumed that they were to charge it … The silly little girl! My ferry was departing in 20 minutes from then, I couldn't wait and had to rush and several SMS messages later, with reportedly their manager involved, they blatantly refused to refund the payment to my card, they had no pin number, no signature, they had stolen my monies and suggested that I may like to utilise the double charge by not paying when I next stay. These people are thieves, do not provide them with a card number, pay for everything by cash!

Rooms are modern and simplistic, air conditioning is great, bathroom is clean, fridge and TV work and are decent. Menu for the breakfast is humble but statisfied me personally. Pools are also great addon. Overall, I'm statisfied.

WORST HOTEL SO FAR
Reviewed By nedde2014We arrived at 11pm from lipata port, so were no longer picky on which inn we would stay except for one requirement that it should have a heater on the bathroom. And so we choose to stay in this inn since the former two inns we visited has no heater. We stayed at rm 105. As we got in, the room smells like a stinky feet?? and as we used the heater it didnt work properly and the water has a rusty smell. So it seems that i didnt took a bath after all?. I alredy told the staff. Hope they will fix this problem?

Reviewed By baxterd709Got a great deal at this nice BnB Hotel rooms were very nice and nice dining room.We were stuck in the airport and no plans were made kind of winged it at the last minute.We got a flyer from a guy and he gave us free ride to hotel n to ferry in the morning.Also free dinner n breakfast he really helped us out.The accommodations were excellent I would definitely recommend and I am sure to be there again.

Viewing the Best Sunset in Surigao
Reviewed By Mim912The place is an ideal stop to view one of the best sunsets. Nestled in the far corner of the famous Mabua Pebble Beach, Mt. Bagarabon Resort offers an idyllic respite away from the city chaos. We were booked in a Family Room (good for 4). It was clean and spacious. With the free breakfast (you have a choice of coffee or hot choco WITH fresh fruit juice available for the day and two eggs cooked to your desired style) and other amenities (toiletries kit and a pair of bedroom slippers for each guest in the room), value-for-money description would be underrated. The staff were very accommodating too.They even served the coffee and tea we ordered right at the open cottage near the beach so that we all can wait for the sun to set. They also suggested some places to get good eats should be prefer to enjoy dinner at the city proper.

Reviewed By Eddie DI booked this place because of the close vicinity of Mabua beach. Had the best time here with family and friends. Really affordable and the facility is perfect for a group or family. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. You can cook on the facility so you can try so many of the local ingredients and also keep costs down with a large group. Mr John is a great host and Lanni is so helpful, kind, and a great cook. The place is a 5 minute walk to the beach which is a great place to swim with fantastic sunset views. I'm so glad I was able to find this place. Felt like a home away from home. Will definitely return!! Thanks Native Garden!!

Affordable rooms located within Surigao city. Every room at this hotel is air conditioned and is fitted with a TV. Offering free WiFi access throughout the property. There is a 24-hour front desk available to assist the guests. Gaisano is about 9 minutes drive and Surigao airport is just 10 mins drive from the hotel.
Towel scam hotel
Reviewed By PanamalorWe spend one night there. First, it’s very noisy (the restaurant in front has a guitar player that you can hear very well). The bed are not bad. We used one towel to put on the floor because the bathroom became wet and slippery as hell and I felt on the floor. When we left at the morning, the manager told us the towels was too dirty, so we had to pay 300 pesos!!! Really?! The staff was non cooperative. A real scam to get pesos. You should avoid this place.

Reviewed By AMD604Jannas place was small but very clean. The water pressure was practically non existent in the shower. The location is perfect. Close to the main bars and a quick 20 peso scooter ride to cloud 9. There is no wifi so keep this in mind.

Great Value for Money!
Reviewed By jaredcorderoThe place is pretty good for the price of the rooms. Went to visit for a business trip and was on a tight corporate budget. I was really glad that I found this place. They also serve affordable breakfast meals and the lobby and hallways have pretty good lighting and fresh air. Wifi is pretty decent in the hotel lobby. The location is also right smack in the middle of the city for travelers who commute or would like to walk around the city.
