Reviewed By 415marjoriewThe Hampton Inn at Riverton accommodated our large family, extended family and friends for a funeral. The staff signed many sympathy cards and placed bouquets of flowers in each of our rooms. That was such an unexpected gesture. Of course, the rooms are clean, comfy, and luxurious as to be expected. However, the food service staff went above and beyond serving their complimentary dinner and breakfast to our huge family. It was so nice to have a large sitting/dining area to visit and eat with our family between the viewing and funeral during the two days.

There's a beverage station in lobby,a couple of work stations,setting area and a small Aprapho museum. Our room was a large double queen. There was a comfortable chair and loveseat. Fridge and microwave. The bathroom had plenty of vanity space, quality linens . A Keurig coffee maker was there with Green Mountain products. Our room was 80.00 and was worth far more. One other thing the bed actually had a fitted sheet instead of just a flat lying on top of mattress which seems to be the norm in most other hotels.

Forget the fluff and fanfare of expensive hotels. The Paintbrush Motel offers squeaky clean rooms at a fraction of the price. Located on the north side of town, they are conveniently close to shopping and restaurants. Located in the Heart of Wyoming, the Wind River Country offers an abundance of recreational opportunities ranging from Yellowstone National Park that sits just three hours away to the beautiful Sinks Canyon only 30 minutes away to the casino up the street. The Paintbrush Motel wants to be there to help you get a good night's rest when you are ready to call it a night!
Terribly Disappointed!
Reviewed By adelecO3007SQWe booked a room at this motel based on reviews we read. There must be another Paintbrush Motel in Riverton because this place was disgusting! Our non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke, a filthy carpet hosting the smoking odor, a cigarette burn hole in the bedspread, the bedside table was duct-taped together, fabric cushion on the chair had dried food on it, ragged washcloth with a hole in the middle and matching ragged-edged towel, door with no security lock on it so we piled chairs against it for false security. GRUNGY and dilapidated, furnished with discards was the decor. It stunk of cigarette smoke that we could not get used to. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone except in an emergency situation and I am flaberghasted others forund this place "quant!".

Reviewed By nighthawk779The restaurant was very good had New York strip steak. Very good. Average salad bar. Bake potatoe was a little too tepid. Onion rings were okay. Breakfast beware pan cakes they are the size of hubcaps. I thought pretty good coffee. They leave the pot on the table. Good bacon and ham. I would eat there every chance I'm in Riverton.

Front Desk guy was very nice and welcoming but didn’t tell us the rooms were on the opposite side and back of the hotel and there was a door right by our rooms. Not a big deal but I had 2 elderly folks with me that it would have helped. My room was clean but the other 2 said rooms were clean but didn’t have any soap or shampoo in room. Breakfast at that price should be included in my opinion. Also my room keys wouldn’t work so maintenance had to open my room. Didn’t really matter because I was in for the night and checked out in the morning. Would stay again.

Reviewed By madaboutdamouseWe had reserved this hotel in the planning stages of our trip to Yellowstone as a reasonable place to stay on our trip back home. Jackson prices were way out of line and this hotel was under 100 dollars for a one night passing through stay. Check in was fine got a room at the far end of the building on the ground floor right by the entrance. Found that the back door entrance was not secured in fact there was not latch inside the door at all. The sliding window in the room had been bent in the middle and did not close correctly so when the wind blew you could hear wind noise. The window also had no screen and no latch to lock it closed, probably because it was broken off when it got bent do there was a cut off broom handle shoved into the track to hold it closed, did not feel very secure especially on the ground floor. We had 1 bath towel in the bathroom for a 2 double bed room, no wash cloths, no hand towels and no bath mat. There was the noise of running water from the upstairs the entire time we were there.

Reviewed By AdravalNothing fancy about this place, but it is clean, had a microwave and fridge, nice bathroom, (strange room layout, but it makes it unique?) and had modern big screen TV with cable or satellite. We were looking for something last minute and even though it is an older motel, it was perfect for what we needed. We felt safe and worked out for what we needed.

To attempt to make it right they switched us room and the second room was just as bad! dirty lines no towels or toilet paper. Need to say unless your desperate don’t stay there!

Reviewed By heidi_kayetThis motel was awful. Do not waste your money here! We were charged to stay in a filthy room that had crumbs in the bed, the bath tub was not clean, and only had 2 towels with no rug to step on when you got out of the shower, so we had to use one towel in place of a rug. When we asked the front desk manager for more towels, he questioned us as to why we needed more towels when we paid for a week to stay. Towels are supposed to be a basic service offered by hotels but for some reason it was a problem for them. They are a rip off. Take your money elsewhere because it is not worth the filth/uncleanliness and RUDE staff!
