Reviewed By dambankerChecked in here late, nice and close to I75. Found everything here that I expect from this chain, clean and comfortable.. Staff at the front desk was very friendly and efficient, no issues with checking in. Good place to spend the night. Would recommend.

Horrible customer service
Reviewed By belindah2022This hotel has horrible customer service. The manager is very rude and unable to properly communicate with customers. They canceled our rooms to sell at a higher rate so they can make more money. This left us with no place to stay. Thankfully another hotel met our needs and went out of the way to help us.

They are obviously in the process of replacing mattresses because there was a dumpster full of old ones. Our room was in the back building on the end upstairs, and was very quiet. If you're looking for an economical stay, this place could be for you.

Reviewed By Eli CI Stayed here many years ago back when this was a Hampton Inn, probably between '07-'09. I don't really remember but it was a dozen or more years ago. Clarion is usually not as nice as Hamptons in my experience and this motel's standards have gone downhill. When I walked in the lobby the floor was very wet and had a strong musty odor, there was a guy cleaning the lobby attentively which the front desk guy told me that they clean the property frequently due to pandemic protocols. I was traveling with my sister so I needed two rooms. My room was on the second floor, My sister's first room was on the second floor but there was a smoky odor to her first room , she has allergies so we alerted the front desk and he moved her to a different room on the ground floor, since that was all they had left. My room was not very clean but it was decorated very well. Bathtub was very rusty and old, place is exterior corridor, has an elevator and a small fitness room, as well as a pool (outdoor). Area seems safe. Close to Target and some good restaurants. This is an aging hotel that needs some attention.

Dirty, broken, and poorly staffed

While some have experienced decent accommodation there are plenty of us that are pleading with you to stay somewhere else. We are not a fancy family, but we do expect clean and functioning rooms when we stay at a hotel. Broken stained furniture, old food in freezer, and a broken shower valve were all part of our unfortunate stay. Plus, roaches in stairwells and unhelpful staff that were not able to provide additional bedding for the pull-out. We were given mattress covers instead of sheets and blankets. Management is not onsite and front desk staffing is unauthorized to provide refunds or discounts. We were promised a 30% discount, but only received 20 %.

Reviewed By W2086EGkellysWe needed a hotel for one night for a family wedding in Cleveland,TN. When we arrived the front desk could not have been more helpful, she was pleasant and accommodating. The rooms are small, but so what. The pool was perfect. The room was clean, however when you look down the hall there where dirty towels there for most of the night. One of our family members stayed on the highway side, which was very loud. Breakfast was not very good. We had to ask for certain things, sausage was dry. I was so excited to see scones, but they were like a rock. The worst was the fact it was suppose to be smoke free. There was a man smoking outside the pool area, another in front of the building and the absolute worst was the breakfast worker just outside smoking during breakfast. This hotel is definitely not worth the money.
