A walk through the natural surroundings. Beautiful historic area. A place where the Cherokee learned of the loss of their lands and the Trail of Tears began. The Red Clay Council grounds and parks was the last seat of the Cherokee government. Lots of history in this area. Log cabin and inn rentals for tourist. Also hiking trails for the more adventurous wanderer. Go check it out and enjoy....

We love the Cleveland Greenway! It is a wonderful place to walk/run and get some exercise. There’s always something going on there for people of all ages! I love all the the 5ks, playgrounds accessibility of restrooms, water fountains and best of all pet-friendly community blessing!

This is a small museum, but the entry price is small too. The volunteer staff is very friendly and helpful. The gift shop has the best selection of items that I have seen in a long time. Everything is handcrafted and fairly local. Prices are not low but you must consider the amount of time that goes into these unique creations.

If you like quality lagers, IPA's, Stouts and like to sample local fare then this is your place. Friendly, Fun and lots of character! This place allows you to sample before you buy. They also offer flights for purchase for a larger sampling. Then you can purchase 1/2 pints, pints or better yet a growler! Yep, buy the growler 1 time then refill as needed for only the price of the tap you request. Pretty Cool!!

My mother had to have some tests run and I had 4 hours to kill. I had researched things to do in the area and this park was less than 15 minutes from her doctor's office. It was easy to find and in a very nice neighborhood. I pulled into the parking area and was impressed with the freshly mowed grounds. First stop was the restroom. Clean and stocked well for what I believe is a city park. I immediately hit the walking trail. It is 1 3/4 miles long. You are never far enough out to get away from traffic noise but it was still very nice. The trail is paved and very wide. They allow walkers/joggers, bikes, and pets. They have a free poop bag dispenser at the start of the trail behind the restrooms. The trail winds thru very thick woods, open fields, and marshy areas. There are bridges built over the wet areas. Just a short walk down the trail is a very nice gazebo. A little further on is a Japanese garden and an old brick spring house. There are benches here and there to sit and enjoy the scenery. Part of the trail runs along a small river. It looked to me as if the trail is well maintained. I didn't see any garbage lying around and recent storm damage had been cleared off the trail. There are birdhouses everywhere. At one point while walking thru a marshy area I saw a large brown owl getting a drink. I'm a country girl and I've never seen one during the day. There is also a viewing deck built over the river which was muddy brown from last night's storms. I walked the entire trail and then settled in at the picnic area to read for awhile. In addition to the picnic area they have 2 pavillions that you can rent. The park must not be used much on weekday mornings. I got there at 9 am on a Thursday morning and I only saw 3 other cars there and didn't meet anyone one the trail and I was there about 2 1/2 hours. I did see a bench and a picnic table that needed to be replaced and I had to walk around a few places in the trail that had flooded from the storms. But all in all it was a great park and I had a good time wandering around by myself. Much better than sitting in a waiting room all morning. If it wasn't so far from where I live I would definitely go back.

My favorite place to stop while traveling. Just of the freeway, Relics Antiques is super easy to get to. Always worth looking around. The prices are right and there is a lot of variety. Every booth is well kept and filled with treasure

Here is a market where you find good deals on Tools and Hardware, Flowers, T-Shirts and Flags, Home and Yard Decor, Fishing Supplies, Sports Collectibles, Antiques Goods, Glassware, Used Clothing, Jewelry, BaseBall Cards, Movie Videos and CD's, New and Used Appliances and Much More......We also have a cafe there too, so you can grab a bite.....Opened Weekends from 7:00 to 5:00. The front section opened daily from 7:00 to 4:30.
