Reviewed By Amanda YSo pleased I booked the Manoir rather than Cancale hotels. Cancale grown into a very busy resort since I was there 25 years ago!, even in September. Loud music blaring from several bars. In contrast the Manoir is so peaceful. Loved the views of the horses in the paddock opposite the terrace. Breakfast is definitely worth 13 euros!

This bed and breakfast is a 5-minute walk from the port and has panoramic views of Mont-Saint-Michel Bay. It offers a garden, indoor and heated pool,terrace and free parking. Free Wi-Fi is available. Reviewed By MichelineMayWe booked a night at the métairie the night before our ferry crossing from St Malo and were stunned to find out that breakfast could not be served until 9am , which was precisely the time when we were to be at the ferry terminal. No alternative arrangement was proposed - such as a cup of coffee, not instant as in the room, and some toast or croissant for say 8:15 - as « the baker does not deliver until shortly before 9. ». This was a shock and disappointment as the website just advises breakfast available… The site is indeed very pretty and the garden and sea views lovely, and the bedroom comfortable. Hot water takes a little while to reach the shower tap in the room under the eaves, and the toiletries are on the minimalist side. The Côté Mer restaurant is a short walk away (albeit on the road) which is a plus.

Reviewed By WicklowOptimistStayed for 3 nights in September in studio chalet, very comfortable and well set up, chairs and tables outside each studio, Very quiet setting, Breakfast served due to Covid restrictions, fresh and plenty of. Staff are really helpful and rooms and hotel itself spotlessly clean. Pool small but perfect for a swim in the evening. 15 minutes walk into town, easy on way down, not as easy in the dark after a few glasses of wine. Would definately stay here again when in area

Reviewed By June-lovetotravelWe stayed over night when travelling through Bretange. This was a very nice, fresh and clean hotel with a very good seafood resuarant. Comfortable beds and nice sleep with the windows open hear thE waves from the Atlantic. Good value for the money!

Reviewed By AdamWideWhere to start ? Service here is non-existent at the hotel is run by the restaurant staff in between waiting on the table. The location is FANTASTIC, but I'm afraid that is where the superlatives stop. AVOID ROOM 25 !!! The "courtyard view" is in fact looking out over the kitchen, with the noise and smells to match ! Throughout the night you have a choice ... open the windows and be kept awake by the heavy 'thrum' of catering machinery or shut your windows to get some rest and swelter with the heat ! We asked to be m oved and were told we would have to pay extra for another room which had a sort of sea-view if you stood in the window and looked side-ways. Since Cancale was fully booked we had no choice as sleep was commodity we valued above the extra €40! The indifference of the staff was amazing ... they took the money happily, had no interest in engaging with us, sayting hello and thanks etc. ... It's a shame as I understand the hotel is owned b y the same company as runs the exemplary 'Chez Victor', where service and quality rule ... If you are lucky to get a first floor room with a sea-view and balcony I can imagine this place is unbeatable - as long as you don't need any visible hotel service.

Reviewed By Bridget JVery quiet hotel with open scenery around it, very clean with all facilities available, breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. We would definately stay here again when back in this area as it was only a couple of km into Concale, which is a lovely seaside village with some beautiful restuarants.

Reviewed By JindraThis hotel is really few steps from the Cancale beach road, close to thy oysters shops, restaurants and coffees. The hotel itself is not new and not the excellently maintained, but there is everything what one need for short stay in Cancale. Bed, bathroom with shower, table and two chairs. We use to stay there regularly twice a year for these main reasons: Very close to our point of interest and very friendly and helpful staf.
